Raise Your Hand If You've Been Ignoring OUAT Canon For The Past Three Seasons
And I’m glad I have been. I’m tired of the writers for doing this to us repeatedly. I really feel bad for all the wonderful ships that have also been thrown under the bus for Craptain Swine. #PRAYERSFOROUAT
My mom, greatest woman on the planet, has been absolutely unsellable on Once. I convinced her to watch ONE episode with me - picked the CS movie. Still nothing. Made a few other attempts, but nothing came of it. I just finally gave up, considering it a lost cause.
Last night, we’re sitting at the dining room table eating dinner, me talking about the ep (she doesn’t watch, but let’s me babble on at her about it). I finish telling her about the ‘skin myself a crocodile’ scene, go back to eating… and she just casually drops a ‘guess i’ll have to finally start watching it then’.
ARE… ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I’VE BEEN TRYING FOR LIKE OVER A YEAR NOW WITH NOTHING AND NOOOOOW YOU MENTION WANTING TO WATCH IT?!
Daniel Radcliffe: “I think the best relationships are when you’re going out with your best friend,” “My mom and dad are best friends and they were friends before they got married… and then they’ve been married for 30 years and they are best friends and that’s why it works. But I definitely think everyone has been through this moment of do I risk jeopardizing the friendship in an effort to push this forward, is she interested in me? And it’s a minefield. It’s a scary moment.”
THE MOST AWFUL CHILDREN: An Essay on Emma Carstairs, Julian Blackthorn, and Rotten Parabatai
(Something I’ve been meaning to write for ages. Compliments to @emmacordeliacarstairs for talking through this with me! She is a contributor to this highly scientific paper.)
What’s a Gothic without an antihero? Boring, that’s what. It’s a genre full of frankly terrible people, being terrible at each other. That’s why Malcolm is so sympathetic, he’s in a shades of grey sort of story.
(If only someone had applied that filter of sympathy to the faeries. Bitter? I’m not still bitter. Nonsense.)
”She’s a great gal, and, as we all know, a singular talent, like a completely unique, singular talent. She just was born like a purebred, in terms of you just say `go’ and she goes. It’s infuriating because I can’t keep up with it. So it’s beautiful to work with such an incredibly talented and wonderful person.” - Andrew Garfield
