i'm weeping at ur tags "matt: i dare u to eat this shiro: hell yeah i missed breakfast this morning" like???? these boys r iconic thank you
LISTEN the idea of these two being Stereotypical Bros is so goddamn funny to me………….. ‘Two Best Bros Go On The Nerd Field Trip Of A Lifetime, What Happens Next Will Break Your Heart </3′
Where’s that one post where op was like ‘Matt and Shiro spent the entire trip to Kerberos coming up with a wicked long handshake’ because that is just…… so real lmfao
As part of their astronaut training they went to the gym a lot together but they never actually… got anything done.
Matt tries to photobomb all of Shiro’s pre/post workout selfies
That, or he’ll take a selfie of Shiro taking a selfie
They have Keith’s gym workout schedule memorized and sometimes they’ll show up before he does in matching neon pink/green vaguely-80s style workout clothes. I’m talking the leg warmers, the shorts and black leggings, the headbands. Keith legitimately thinks they always work out wearing these clothes.
They always offer him a third matching headband. He declines every time, but they know they’re wearing him down.
Matt & Shiro are constantly trying to set up playdates for Pidge and Keith because they want their antisocial little siblings to actually like. Talk to someone who isn’t part of their family. Of course, all these plans immediately fall through because Pidge and Keith are Antisocial Little Siblings.
One time during the first three months of their friendship they were trying to escape out a window and Shiro got fucking stuck. They got caught, but not because of Shiro’s bigass shoulders. It’s because Matt went to take a selfie and he accidentally had the flash on.
On that note, Matt’s automatic response is to take a selfie every time something happens to Shiro.
One time Shiro went to pour cheese on his pasta, only to accidentally dump the entire container on his lunch because some asshole loosened all the lids. Matt has photos of it all; dramatic close-up shots of the mountain of mozzarella, Shiro’s shocked and bewildered face, and a ten-second video clip of Shiro trying to dump some of his cheese onto Keith’s plate.
Matt & Shiro are the classmates who always seem to be returning from off-campus, only it’s doubly bewildering because the Garrison is in the desert?? There’s literally nothing around for miles??? Where are they even going
Shiro could not cook to save his fucking life, and Matt’s cooking is… dubious at best. Like, it’s not bad. As Matt will tell anyone, cooking is technically just science, and he is a science whiz. And it tastes okay. He followed all the directions perfectly. But there’s just something.. slightly off. Like you’ll eat it, but you won’t ask for seconds.
Shiro insists it’s because Matt doesn’t cook with enough heart, Matt replies that Shiro must be the devil himself since his food always comes out black and disgusting.
I KNOW it’s only been a couple of hours since the new Sims video went up, but bear with me. These are all just based on sad/shy Evan and forward/friendly Dab. Not necessarily shippy (because they’re toddlers!!)
- Evan is clingy towards Dab and whenever their parents take them out on a playdate, Evan holds onto the back of Dab’s shirt, following him from behind.
- Evan is the soft spoken one between the two, and is always happy to play games with Dab but he’s still quite shy every time. They play Cops and Robbers, Saving The Princess in the Tower, etc.
- They keep their drawings of each other posted on their bedroom walls. Dab’s favorite one is a crayon drawing of them as Prince and a Knight, standing on top of a scribble of a slain dragon.
- Someone at daycare hurts Dab by telling him his semi-curly long hair makes him look like a girl. Evan throws his butterfly toy at the kid’s head and they both get into trouble. When their parents arrive to pick them up, Dab is sniffling into Evan’s shirt with Evan consoling him.
- Dab introduces Evan to his first friend the large dinosaur stuffed toy in his room. Evan gets childishly jealous and comes to their next play date in a dinosaur onesie.
I have this headcanon that Albus and Scorpius were born almost at the same time or at least only a couple of hours apart so Draco and Harry were stuck together in the waiting room while Ginny and Astoria were giving births. And Harry noticing what a nervous wreck Draco was, took pity on him and awkwardly tried to reassure him because he knew what it was like to wait for the birth of a child for the first time. And when Scorpius and Albus were born, Draco and Harry introduced them to each other.
And surprisingly, both dads kept in touch, Harry offering some dad!tips and Draco absorbing all the information like a sponge. And then they organised playdates for their kids and that’s how Scorpius and Albus became bffs literally from the cradle (and James began feeling very protective of both of them).
A;N: So Chloe @writing-obrien wrote the first part of this collab and she killed it! I’m hoping I did the same! Huge thanks to the lovely @wydobrien for proof reading and making sure it didn’t suck too hard. I love ya’ll and Enjoy! xoxo
I want to share this badass new app with you guys. It’s called Mush and it’s totally free for Android and iPhone. So, it’s basically like Tinder for moms who want to find other mom friends to hang out with. It’s got some really cool features and your information like your name, email address, and location are totally customizable if you want more privacy. You create your profile that tells people what kind of activities you and your kids like to do, a little about yourself, how old and how many kids you have, and your city and it lets you search for matches based on any of those criteria. My tags are lgbt mom, outdoors, gardening, arts and crafts, animal lover, yoga machine, blogger, and bookworm. They have tags for adoptive parents, special needs children, preemie parents, single parents, step parents, and multiples. It also has a setting that tells others whether you’re available to hang out or not. I think it’s a really neat app since I’m a young mom and most of my friends don’t have kids and I have no idea how else to meet new people. You can arrange meet ups or play dates for your kids based on your area and what kind for activity you want to do. The Mush “Hub” is like a giant message board where people make posts about basically anything and anyone on the app can read it and respond. There are three parts of it, All (includes updates from the app and posts from all over), Local Chat (which are local posts), and My Activity (which keeps track of all your posts and responses). It’s a pretty new app and from their app description it seems like it’s only gotten traffic in the UK so I, for example, am out here in Idaho and don’t have anyone near me for 200+ miles, but I figured with how many followers that I can share this with and how active the mumblr community is we could populate this app with a ton of awesome people from Tumblr. @momcode want to spread this to your followers and other mumblr blogs? Everyone please reblog and help me spread this!!
