Pitti Uomo marveled us yet again with its street style this year. If we want to label this year’s summer styles we would suggest the tags #traditional and #casual .
Traditional? Well the color navy blue was definitely the favorite shade of the attendants, you will see in the pictures shot by Tommy Ton. Also, a lot of attendants opted for a more casual style. And of course there were those who were (yet again) out of this planet with their clothing (Wooster and co.) wearing socks in June, boiling in hobo clothes and so on (we will have a NOT column too).
So, here come the pictures!
Khaki rucksack with a casual suit? Well, we wouldn’t suggest it, but who are we to judge…
Well, where should we begin… This whole outfit is wrong! The color combination is ok but the measures are just simply wrong. We’re not saying you should wear slim or very fit clothes. No! Dress for comfort that’s the key. The gentleman in the picture looks much older because of his hobo style.
We usually love Mr. Wooster’s style, but 2014 is not his year. He is a very fit gentlemen for his age which is very good yet this year he wore these baggy, unstylish 1980s type of clothes which we wouldn’t suggest for our readers.
The hat. No comment. Just don’t.
1. COOL BLUE:
Shades of blue: navy, electric or whatnot. We love them all. A must wear shade in the Summer.
2. TRADITIONAL COLORS:
The colors dust, camel, brown, chocolate, grey. We love all of them.
3. ACCESSORIES WE LOVE:
Hats, scarfs, tortoise sunglasses or electric eye wear. You can see that these cool accessories highlight brilliantly the outfit of the beholder. Perfettamente!
4. CASUALLY COCKY:
We adore these casual guys. It’s important to look good and feel comfortable at the same time.
5. GREAT ITALIAN SHOES:
The best shoes are from Italy, remember that. Whatever the brand may be, an Italian handmade shoe will steal your heart. We guarantee.
