Hello everybody ,I am really excited to share my experience about the dish which I never tried before but now I wish to eat it any day and anytime.Being a chef it is very necessary to explore different cuisine and dishes and that’s what i did being a chef !! I tried the signature Korean dish called “Bibmbap”
After the dish arrived to the table i could smell different flavors like sesame oil,mushrooms,freshness of various vegetables,the dish looked so vibrant as it has so many components and all of them vary in colors.In addition, the dish was served warm and the teriyaki chicken underneath the egg was piping hot.The dish had components like sauteed zucchini,bean sprout,pickled cabbage,shiitake mushrooms,wilted spinach,seasoned carrot Julianne,sunny side up and Nori sheet for garnish.
Every component in this dish was so flavorful that everything tasted in its own way,there were no dominant flavors and was completely balanced dish.The selling point or the uniqueness about this dish is that it was so healthy and light dish for dinner.It is also served with side portion of black rice which is good source of iron,antioxidant and has high nutritional value.The other vegetables on the side were also high in nutrition.Carrots are good source of carotene.
I Think after tasting this type of dish I feel that i can recognize different flavors as I keep on tasting different food.I Felt that i have strong palate as I could identify the sweetness of teriyaki chicken,sharpness in the pickled cabbage, smokey flavor in the sauteed vegetables and sesame oil in the mushroom as it has very dominant flavor of its own.
The dish looked appealing, it tasted delicious and i had an exceptional experience while eating the dish which was made from authentic Asian ingredients.I would highly recommend this dish for those food lovers who like to taste different flavor and explore the cuisine and would myself also eat it again,may be with different protein because I love beef and in my opinion it will be great dish.
If I talk about experiencing vibrant flavor there were few like sesame oil which only compliments certain vegetables.The sweetness in the spinach was completely balanced too.
The whole experience of tasting this dish has helped me to discover different flavor which indeed will help me to combine various flavors with different vegetables,herbs and spices.As going ahead in recent culinary trends “Combination of flavors hold crucial role for judging any dish.”
