They’re Going To Be Happy – an upbeat Johnlock playlist

8tracks | Spotify

A playlist for two smart idiots who are in love, and will get their happy ending someday… and for the fandom that’s usually filled with angst, but believes in that future happiness.

I love angsty playlists as much as the next person, but sometimes you really need upbeat, happy music to listen to as you think about your ship. There’s not an overabundance of playlists like this for Johnlock–for obvious reasons–so I decided to make one. Songs are about either one or both of their POVs. All of it’s fairly upbeat, and a solid 85% of it is happy. (The rest is an homage to the end of s2 + s3.)

I hope it brings you as much joy as it brings me! Go forth, have fun listening to a beautiful story arc, picture these two running around solving cases while pining, think about how they’re so in love, and remember that eventually they’re going to be happy. :)

No two people are more deserving for having their show succeed. Tyler and James do SO MUCH for our fandom. Plenty that they don’t have to do but do it because they are genuinely, caring, gracious and humble human beings. They are so grateful for Eyewitness and everything that’s come from it. They send us novels of appreciation when the view count goes up .0000001%. They are always posting old BTS photos and telling us cute stories that we haven’t heard before. They do a livestream with us almost every week. They are so active with the fans on twitter and instagram. All because THEY WANT TO. No two actors have ever cared about their character, loved the relationship their characters are in and cared about their show as much as these two. They became best friends from doing this show and they deserve for it to continue. They do so much for this fandom all because they want to and they deserve it all.

Please watch the season finale of Eyewitness on USA Network Sunday at 10pm and support us and these two guys right here. Whether you watch the show or not, just know you’d be supporting the two most genuine human beings and the most supportive fandom in the world. Please join us and them in supporting Eyewitness just for ONE HOUR on Sunday. Please help us reach the view goal we need to get another season. Please! DO IT FOR THEM!

NaNo Prompt: 01

An elderly person is sitting at a dimly lit table in a fancy restaurant. The chair opposite them is empty. Their hand rests on an old tattered photo album.

Tell their story.

Try to limit stories to one page or less. Remember these prompts are to get the creativity flowing. There’s no pressure! Feel free to post and tag your pieces with “pw does nano 2016.”

my mom got Officially Accepted into the episcopal church today. I didn’t go but my gramma (who couldnt go either :c ) asked for a picture of my mom with the bishop so i got to see that at least

If you’re a long time follower of this little blog of mine, you may remember the April Happiness Challenge a couple of years ago. Well, I’m in need of some happiness and some positivity at the moment so I’m bringing it back.

I missed April (obviously) so I’m just doing it in May instead. May is going to be a fun month (hello, 23rd birthday) and I don’t want to spend it wallowing and feeling blue, so this is where the challenge steps in.

It starts on May 1st and runs through to May 30th, giving you the 31st off to just be happy. I’m going to be taking part and if anyone wants to join me then jump on board! If only one other person takes part and gets a little sunshine from it, then I’m happy.

How to take part

  • Starting on May 1st, follow the challenge and every day (or as many days as you can manage - no stress!), write a post/post a photo/tell a story/film a video/do whatever you wish using each daily prompt.
  • Tag your posts with #MayHappinessChallenge so everyone can see them and find them. I’ll be reblogging my faves!
  • That’s it!

Being happy and focussing on the positives is so important and I think sometimes we just need that little push to help us along the road to happy. So that is this push.

Things to remember

  • Your life is your own creation.
  • Radiate positivity wherever possible.
  • YOU are in charge of your own happiness.
  • Pay people compliments - it costs you nothing and it could make someone else’s day.
  • Focus on the positives, not on the negatives. There’s always a silver lining, some are just harder to find.

Reblog this post and spread the word! (You don’t have to reblog to take part, but one of your followers might want to!)

Let’s get happy 🌞
