To the person who asked for reference images, there is this site called farfarwaysite that has extremely high quality photos from many-many of tv shows. Especially useful for poses and drawing specific characters
President Donald Trump helped the nation reach a rare moment of racial reconciliation, but hardly anyone noticed.
It was sparked by a recent White House photo op, when Trump gathered with Republican leaders to celebrate the House passing a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare.
The event looked like the board meeting of an all-white-male golf club. Photos from the ceremony showed a phalanx of middle-aged white men heartily congratulating one another, with no woman or person of color in sight.
Some photos released later did show some women at the event. But the surplus of white testosterone in the images sparked widespread outrage. One critic tweeted: “Message from another white guy: Yes, this is way too many white men in one place.” Another white guy complained about a pattern of “overwhelming white maleness" in Trump administration photos. Someone even started a hashtag: #governmentsowhite.
Lost in the criticism of those images, though, was something to celebrate: Many white people now get uneasy about seeing too many white guys in positions of power. The notion that the nation’s leaders should look like the people they represent is becoming widely accepted.
Packing up my flat for the summer and I’m finding so many small treasures and memories from this past year. Train tickets from Schiphol to Den Haag and from Kings X to Edinburgh and business cards from cafes in Bordeaux and Dublin. Wristbands from balls and fashion shows, and photo/AAA passes from other ones. Birthday gifts and Christmas cards. Annotated poems from class. Disposable photo prints from my birthday dinner. The commemorative photo from the reception for the short story contest I placed in. A spare sheet of stickers with my photo company’s old logo from before we rebranded. The comical receipt for the first Tesco shop my flatmate and I did together in September (Red Bull, prawn crackers). Vintage paperbacks I’ve bought from the old man at the tiny independent bookshop in town. My dirndl from my uni’s charity Oktoberfest a couple months ago. A cloth-covered notebook I bought from a fabric shop in my neighbourhood in Cape Town. Scribbled planning notes from last month’s ball promo photoshoot. Seashells collected on the beach here.

You don’t need a scientific calculator to know that the March for Science was a massive success.

The day of President Donald Trump’s inauguration wasn’t just the beginning of an unprecedented presidency. It was the launch of one of the most sustained protest movements in American history.
Over the past 100 days, immigrant communities showed the force of their protest, anti-fascists have lashed out violently at the rising tide of white supremacy and anti-war coalitions long dead have come to life with renewed interest and energy.
Here is a concise look back at some of the most significant marches, disruptions and protests that pushed back against Trump’s agenda at every opportunity.Read more. (4/29/17, 10:55AM)
5) Jean-Jacques Leroy
Dad: “That’s Spain’s(referring to otabek) brother…that’s Juan”

Dad:“Whoa, Justing Beiber 2008”
Me: “Name and age?”
Dad: “That’s-uh…that’s Justin, he’s 20. Like, tomorrow’s his 21st birthday and he’s planning to get VERY drunk. He’s gonna get…lit.”
Me, dying of laughter: “And where’s he from”
Dad: “That’s a Canadian if i’ve ever seen one…Mr…frosted tips…”
7) Phichit Chulanont
Me: “Name, age, country?”
Dad: “…Dora from Venezuela…he’s 13. And those are his hamsters, ee-nie, mee-nie, and mine-nie.”
Me: “So, Dad, bonus points if you can tell me if they are gay or straight”
Dad: “I’m gonna give you a little spoiler…they’re all gay…they’re figure skaters.”
Me: “Ok, you have a point, but still…”
Yurio- “oh it’s jill, well i guess she’s straight”
Chris- “SCREAMING GAY…THE GAYEST OF GAY”
Phichit- “…gay furry”
Me: “Ok, Dad, final and most important question. Are you ready?”
Dad: “I’ve never been more ready”
Me: “Two of the characters that are gay are actually in a relationship. Which characters?”
Dad: “Yuuri…and…um, Viktor???”
Me: “YES! YOU GOT IT!”
Dad: “BOOM! NAILED IT! that’s worth 98% right there”
I think it’s pretty safe to assume that my Father has very little knowledge of Yuri!!! On Ice. If he got it right, it’s most likely because of him hearing my rants😂
About 6 or 7 years ago, I was trying to enlist into the military. I ended up not joining but that’s a story for another time. At this point, I was led to believe I was about 4 months away from leaving for Boot camp. I was running out of savings, and needing a part time job for some spending cash while I waited around.
So I did what any enterprising 20something would do, and searched craigslist for jobs. I normally hate sales jobs, especially those based on commissions, but figured it would be a great way to earn some extra cash short term. Found a few job listings that looked promising, and put out some applications. A few days later I received a call from David. He was opening up a new store and needed associates. He liked my resume and asked if I’d be available for an interview on Friday morning. I was very up front with him, and let him know that the distance was a bit more than I’d normally drive for a retail job, and asked what he was offering for an hourly rate, to see if it was worth the drive. He told me that they were planning on offering an hourly rate in the mid teens, along with commission. Seemed like an ok deal, so I agreed to be there Friday at 8am.
i know that people who haven’t gotten tickets or won’t get tickets are going to be disappointed, but please don’t get too down about it. going to a show is amazing, of course, and hearing the songs in person is amazing, of course, but it costs a lot of money and sometimes you have to deal with really annoying people and sometimes people hold signs up in front of your face or you’re behind someone really tall so you can’t see shit anyway. but you know who doesn’t have to deal with those issues? people who are at home. anyone who doesn’t go will still get to see amazing videos and photos from the shows without paying a cent and you’ll get to follow along with what’s happening on tumblr and twitter and there’s a lot of fun in that too tbh. remember when every otra show trended worldwide and every night, we’d all get excited and wait for the first ridiculous fan reports, half of which were total bullshit, and grainy LQ pics of what they boys were wearing and doing onstage? and then in the days following each show, we’d get so many beautiful closeup HQ pics and videos that we could watch from our bedrooms and living rooms and feel like we were practically there. the 1d fandom makes even following along with a concert from home a really great experience, so as disappointed as some people may be to not get tickets, you can experience harry’s tour in a different way that’s still a lot of fun - and you get to do it without any of the annoyances and problems that can happen when you’re actually there in person. so just keep that in mind and try not to get too upset if you haven’t/don’t get tickets. 💚
So I want everyone to cheer up a little and remember that Mish will be back next season as a regular and that this is confirmed.
Also, I made a list of great things about to happen:
We will see the fucking Gag Reel!
Comic Con Panel
JIBcon and Cockles Panel!
The more emotional than ever reunion of Dean and Cas at the beginning of s13
Hiatus Beards will be grown
All the cons are coming, there will be lots of photos from ops and videos
As for the show itself,
We just saw Dean mourn over Cas’ dead body and fall to his knees in shock and despair guys do you really think they would just do a “welcome back bro” thing after that come on it’s gonna be awesome when he comes back
Cas might come back human
Even if any supernatural being wont bring him back dean winchester sure as hell will
We will definitely see more of the apocalyptic alternate reality
The nephilim feels connected to Cas for some fucking reason, he might want him alive and bring him back immediately.
Deancas // Samjess i mean it was obvious and thats great
Cas said dean even tho there were 2 more members of his family there
Dean fell to his knees do you understand that
Sam looked at dean, looked at cas, looked back at the house and left dean there to mourn because he knew.
this is all progressive good stuff, i feel hopeful about all of it. I feel like they are gonna break and finally do something about the built-up emotion. i …. have faith (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
