Now, if only I could take more pictures of her and through these photographs, convince her that she is beautiful and of course, make her realize that imperfections make up more than half of what really makes each one of us fascinating. For instance, the dimple adjacent to someone’s lip that is actually an abnormality, or the impeccably peculiar size of someone’s pair of eyes or ears, or the irregular length of our fingers, or the crooked two front teeth that could make anyone smile whenever the lips part to form a surprisingly contagious curve. It will never be easy to embrace every little detail, every little flaw that we are composed of but know that the self can only be made better when one is open and willing.
