Brown Bear Family at Rest by David & Shiela Glatz
Mother Brown Bear and two cubs, born in 2010, napping on a stream bank, Lake Clark, National Park. We photographed these bears in June 2010, when the cubs were spring cubs. They’ve grown substantially, and the cub on the left here is quite independent. The other cub hangs close to its mother, even when sleeping as you can see here. The “twins” were eventually cast off by Mom in July 2012. Lake Clark National Park, Alaska.
