On the subject of Alternative Tarot Cards:

Most of these I will be making for my version of Persona 3. Any P5 or P4 muses might want to read over this first. This also applies to my AU with @goodjxb. This is freely rebloggable!

Junpei Iori: Alternative Tarot is the Hanged Man. The enlightenment relating to self-sacrifice was tied to Chidori. When he chose to give his life to protect her, he achieved the secondary reflection and Arcana of the Hanged Man.

Fuuka Yamagishi: Fuuka is of the Temperance Arcana. She represents balance, as she learns to gain balance between the self she feels she should be, and the self that she is. Her change is most gradual, but she does manage to become stronger.

Mitsuru Kirijo: Mitsuru, surprisingly, represents the Hermit Arcana. The Hermit arcana does not always equal isolation of the physical value. Mitsuru isolates herself with her reputation, and using that, she shields her true self from the public as the idolize the front she puts herself in. It is also indicative of how her abilities are initially - like Fuuka’s - meant to scan and observe before engaging.

Aigis: Aigis, due to the game mechanics, has already been assigned a secondary Arcana of Aeon.

Shinjiro Aragaki: Same reasons as above.

Akihiko Sanada: Star. Like the other two, this Arcana was pre-selected for them.

Ken Amada: Ken’s secondary Arcana is Sun. The brilliant star of his life is tempered by the grief and the sadness of which exists to exude the tragedy all of the Sun’s Social Links embody.

Korumaru: Best fit is the Chariot Arcana. Korumaru’s determination to save SEES when the chairman betrayed them is indicated by his run up Tartarus nonstop to interrupt his rampage, and embodies his spiritual determination and unfailing loyalty.

P3MC: Like a few others, MC has had a second Arcana drawn for him - the Tower Arcana, in Persona Q. The card of grief, tragedy, and a fall from grace. While they may not have been an intention on the part of the creators when they drew the cards, I’ll take it to mean that Makoto’s eventual sacrifice was meant as the symbol of the tower - the deliverer, and not the victim.

Yukari Takeba: Unlike all of the others, Yukari Takeba best represents the Fool Arcana. Rather, it signifies that Yukari, like the MC, has the most to travel through in order to rise above the doubts and the fears that she carries, yet rarely speaks.

Marvel’s Female Superheroes Assemble At Comic-Con For Epic Photo

Not to be outdone by DC who unveiled the first trailer for ‘Wonder Woman’ to huge acclaim at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel assembled its growing roster of female stars for a team photo backstage proving the studio is doing its best to address equality on screen.

The first person to dare mention “Girl Power” gets a punch in the face.

Gathering stars from ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2′, ‘Black Panther’, ‘Doctor Strange’, and ‘Captain Marvel’, the all-female team photo brings together a wealth of screen talent that boasts three Oscar-winners amongst them.

Reblog to save a life

EDIT: okay so I have no idea if this actually works. I’d seen someone else say the same thing as the tweet in this screenshot, so I figured it was probably true. After posting it, I tried it and I believe it worked, but I may have made a mistake. A lot of people are saying its false in the reblogs, and some agreeing it works. I’ve seen several sources saying it works, and several saying it doesn’t. If it does work, it’s probably very difficult, given the apparent failure rate – if I did in fact retrieve one, it was an enormous stroke of luck. I’d say unless you live like right next to a pokestop or have unlimited money, don’t waste pokeballs by testing it out and don’t rely on it. As someone who reblogged it said, better safe than sorry. I apologize if I’ve spread misinformation – I still don’t know if this is false, but that was never my intention.

#17challenge: day 02 // favourite unit

Before I go to be I really wanted to give these girls a shout out…the ones that got away…With the exception of Maggie; Amelia, Brenna, Rachel, Christina, and Emily were pretty much ignored at this event by the media and TV. And I feel it is only appropriate to celebrate their amazing accomplishment of being able to COMPETE at this meet, and I hope you all can agree that these women should deserve just as much love as the Olympic Team will receive. And for most of these girls…this may be their final night as an Elite Gymnast….
