Hani vardır ya bazı anlar…
Seni bir sen bir de Rabbin anlar…
ألا إن هناك بعض اللحظات؛ حيث يفهمك ربك و أنت فقط…

A group prayer photo and an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network? On the same day? The day after your namesake shows he's truly a chip off the old arrogant-and-stupid block? Wow, Prez Little Hands, you really do think we're idiots. Just to be clear: your hardcore base is gullible and stupid. The rest of us are not. I hope God's discerning enough to look at your track record and say, "Nah, not you."

Trump Oval Office Prayer Photo Draws Mixed Reactions

A photograph of President Donald Trump praying with a group of evangelical leaders in the Oval Office was met with mixed feelings from the public Wednesday. The photo was posted by religious freedom advocate Johnnie Moore and included Vice President Mike Pence. In it, Trump could be seen surrounded by the leaders, heads bowed in prayer.

“Such an honor to pray within the Oval Office for @POTUS & @VP,” Moore’s tweet said.

Florida televangelist and Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne also posted the photo to his social media accounts. Others who could be seen in the Oval Office that day included Michelle Bachmann, former Republican congresswoman, and Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Texas.

“We similarly prayed for President Obama but it’s different with President Trump,” said Moore, according to CNN. “When we are praying for President Trump, we are praying within the context of a real relationship, of true friendship.”

The evangelical leaders pictured in the photo reflected Trump’s strong evangelical base that helped him clinch the election: 81 percent of white evangelicals voted for the candidate in the 2016 election, according to Pew Research.

The photo, however, garnered mixed reviews. Some praised the photo and what it showed, while others condemned it as an affront to the separation of church and state in the United States.

“Heartwarming to see our President being receiving prayers in the Oval Office,” one person tweeted.

Another user took issue with the photo in a simple five-word tweet: “Separation of church and state…”

Still others were angered by the fact that someone photographed the prayer session.

“Matthew 6:6 says when you pray you should do so behind closed doors and in secret,” said one user. “I guess Matthew 6:7 must say ‘but then also tweet about it’”

“’And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray… (on twitter)… to be seen by others’ Matt 6:5,” another person tweeted.

Joy for couple who lost two sons in horrific car crash as they welcome twins

A couple who tragically lost their two sons in a horrific car accident have given birth to twins.

Hadley and Gentry Eddings, from Charlotte in the US, were driving home from the beach with their two-year-old son Dobbs after attending a family wedding in 2015 when the crash occurred.

Hadley was 38 weeks pregnant at the time and gave birth to baby Reed after the accident, but he died just days later.

The couple announced their pregnancy in January and thanked the community for holding the family “in their prayers.”

On Monday, the family welcomed the two boys, named Isaiah Dobbs and Amos Reed.

Ms Eddings said it took the couple a long time to get to the point where they felt comfortable having more children.

“I had missed being a mom from day one but around this summer I thought, we’re getting to that point where it ok for me to be pregnant and I want to have more babies,” she said, 11 Alive reported.

“It’s not betraying my children who are no longer here to have more children and that was the things we had to work through before we decided to try again.”

Em hotep! My name is Amanda (Doctor10Tennant on the HoN forums)! This is a new blog and please bear with me as I force myself to keep up with this. My goal for this blog is to post artwork that I create of Netjer, as well as prayers and photos of anything Kemetic that I deem interesting…I’d also like to keep a record of my progress of discovery within the faith…

Nardos’ mother, Tigist, has always worked hard to take care of her, but often her  work was not enough to keep them going. Long days and nights still did not  bring in a livable income to support them.

Tigist learned about Operation Blessing’s partner, Embracing Hope Ethiopia, an organization that  supports single mothers and their children. They gave Tigist and Nardos the  hand-up they needed.

They were finally no longer on their own. Nardos received medical care, clothes, nutritious food, and the opportunity to attend school! Today, she is healthy and doing well in EHE’s elementary school.

Tigist learned new skills and EHE helped her find a better job and a new home. The family that once struggled to get by is now thriving.

Prayer Point: Pray for families encountering difficult times, whether it be job loss, hunger, medical issues, or whatever they face that seems insurmountable. Pray that organizations and people will come alongside them  in their time of need to give them help and hope.
