photo exposure

The past few days have been spent camping in the mountaintops - catching sunrises, sunsets, a moon rise, going star gazing, building bonfires, hiking in the rain, being battered by freezing winds, meeting interesting hikers, eating dehydrated food and splurging on real food when in town, having the car surrounded by a bunch of Elk who decided to lick the car for some reason.. All in all, a great collection of moments and memories.

Photo taken at Max Patch, North Carolina.

Fog is weird. It slows everything down while whirling chaotically about. It’s almost an ethereal experience to stand at the end of a pier, glancing into nothingness under a glowing, beckoning red light, hearing both screaming seagulls and a creaking ship and not being able to see either.
