Bridging the Gap between Heritage and Architecture
Bridging the gap between history and the present generation is a way to acknowledging our ancestors and learning their lives by the architecture they lived with. Heritage is a gift given by God improves by our ancestors and maintained by our generation and shall be the witness to the growth of future generations. Architecture is one the catalyst of creating new heritage that man can build in due time. Man can build more valuable and extraordinary heritage with the help of architecture bringing back how our ancestors created the Philippines.

I hate it when people dismiss Filipino culture as inauthentic just because we’re heavily Westernized. First of all, Western-influenced culture with Eastern sensibilities is exactly what Filipino culture is today and exactly what it has been for a long time. It is what it is. It’s ours and it’s authentic. People confuse authentic with exotic (which is a word that is very problematic). Also, can you name a culture that’s really “original?” Uh, no. Every single culture is influenced by other cultures. Using “copycats” to describe Filipinos is just ignorant and uncalled for.
