  • Arizona Coyotes: originally the Phoenix, but even more originally the originall Winnipeg Jets, Paul Bissonnette
  • Boston Bruins: pain in the ass to whoever plays them, Ryan Miller has issues with Bruin Milan Lucic
  • Buffalo Sabres: The other part of New York, traded their Olympic goalie
  • Calgary Flames: Iginlaless
  • Carolina Hurricanes: collects Staal brothers who are right handed and play offense
  • Chicago Blackhawks: Probably the closest thing to a dynasty.
  • Colorado Avalanche: oh hot damn, the city is cold, but the players are hot.
  • Columbus Blue Jackets: Got their first playoff win this year.
  • Dallas Stars: Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin, and the other players
  • Detroit Red Wings: Prefers their players like wine, older
  • Edmonton Oilers: They have so much talent, but can’t get the “W”
  • Florida Panthers: exist.
  • LA Kings: Kings may be a bit exaggerated.
  • Minnesota Wild: Relevance doubled with the addition of Parise and Suter.
  • Montreal Canadiens: are still in the playoffs, it feels like 93’
  • Nashville Predators: Country music, specifically Carrie Underwood.
  • New Jersey Devils: Defense.
  • New York Islanders: leaving the island and heading to Brooklyn, Brooklyn Islanders
  • New York Rangers: Probably the best New York Team
  • Ottawa Senators: Silver Bobby Ryan finally gets away from Gold Gezlaf
  • Philadelphia Flyers: Broad Street Gingers
  • Pittsburgh Penguins: Either you love them or you hate them.
  • San Jose Sharks: Really good regular season team, really unlucky post season team
  • St. Louis Blues: loves America #Miller #Oshie #Backes #Shattenkirk
  • Tampa Bay Lightning: Steven Stamkos is the only relevant player according to NBC Sports.
  • Toronto Maple Leafs: 45 seasons and counting without a cup, Phil Kessel is pretty much to most Canadian American everrr.
  • Vancouver Canucks: Honestly, this team has been changing that I can’t even keep up. I think the Sedins are still there and will never leave.
  • Washington Capitals: 0 stanley cups with Ovechkin
  • Winnipeg Jets: actually, the Atlanta Thrashers

Flyers Owner and Founder Ed Snider passes away at 83 years old.

Ed Snider, the founder and 50 year owner of the Philadelphia Flyers passed away Monday April 11th after a long battle with cancer. The NHL sends their condolences and praise to one of the most recognized and famous owners in hockey.

Ed’s can do attitude and risk-taker persona established Philadelphia as a premiere sports city. He founded the Flyers in 1966 and took the Spectrum arena out of bankruptcy in 1972. In 1974, the Flyers became the first National Hockey League expansion team to win the Stanley Cup and the first to win consecutive cups after repeating the achievement again in 1975.

The NHL and the hockey world would like to thank Mr. Snider for establishing one of the most storied franchises in the league.
