One of the themes happening in More than Meets the Eye Season 2 is Legacy.

First we see how Megatron’s legacy is boiled down to a trial. Then as the Lost Light disappears we’re left considering just what impact its journey so far has actually left on the universe. Next off we see what happens when we don’t have Megatron’s legacy resonating throughout the galaxy, reducing Cybertron and Cybertronians to a mere footnote of a species that has been dying for 10 million years.  Trailbreaker died doing the right thing, Thunderclash was remembered for the impact he had on everyone, Censere tries to leave a monument to Cybertronians so the dead will be remembered and how they’ll be remembered. Tarn and the DJD keep on the Decepticon Legacy even when Megatron has abandoned it.

The problem with Cybertronian legacy is that there is none. Cybertron and Cybertronians are finite. There are no new sparks being generated, they’ve stopped tapping into the matrix mostly because they didn’t even know that the MTO sparks came from there except select few.

But Megatron had a plan.

And that’s what we’re looking at. Phase seven: Repopulation.

Though are they Decepticons?

There is plenty of evidence that their symbol is ancient and most likely predates the Autobot/Decepticon conflict. However throughout history old symbols have been repurposed before for a different agenda or agents.

On the other hand,

They flew Worldsweepers. Plural. And a single Worldsweeper was commanded by Shockwave. And another single one commanded by Sixshot. They had at least two of them.

And not only were they flying a ship that looked like a Decepticon symbol, but they also had equipment marked with Decepticon insignia.

Krok also makes a good point. Those ships were flying during the Imperial Phase of the Decepticons. The Phase where they would be attacking worlds, executing the infiltration protocol.

Another similarity has to be also pointed out. Their motto.

Each word basically means the same. Prepare/Find. Confront/Kill, Repel/Cleanse. Either we’re looking at a bit older version of the DJD mantra or those two branched from the same source. Or we’re purposefully being shown similarities between the new foes and the most feared DJD. Given that James Roberts stated that every single issue in Season 2 is going to have some relevance in The Dying of the Light, it isn’t that hard to imagine.

But if their mission is repopulation, how do they do it?

Quite simply, terraforming.

However it isn’t as simple as it sounds. Cybertronians are threatened by organics. Terraforming planets are not the only step that needs to be taken, but the entire existing biosphere has to be taken as well. This was also part of the Infiltration Protocol. Phase Six was to destroy the rest of the resistance that could be mounted against the Decepticons, while Phase Seven would then finish off the biosphere and make the resource-rich planet their own.

But we end up at the same problem as before. Repopulation, just how is it possible with a finite population?

The solution?

You don’t build from scratch up. Why destroy biospheres when you can repurpose them? You Prepare the biosphere.

However it is a very sensitive process. Organic stuff is dangerous and can’t really exist in real Cybertronian society. You Confront any possible danger. Then you Repel the organic framework, leaving a pure Cybertronian being.

It is a very risky process, and with any possible delays or risks,

Because we already knows what happens when the organic stuff goes out of control.

The Seven Phases of Serial Murder

Serial offenders often develop an antisocial pattern of behavior long before they act upon the urge to kill. Unlike ‘crimes of passion’ - where murder occurs within the heat of the moment - serial killers can spend months, even years, developing their violent fantasies and working up the courage to act them out.

1. Withdrawal from reality

Serial offenders often experience a period of withdrawal when they first develop their murderous fantasies. This usually happens after the onset of puberty, and the connection between sex and violence is first made. The offender is compelled to seek out violent pornography, and may begin torturing animals or setting fires. Other offenders become 'Peeping Toms’. This stage can last months or years, depending on the individual.

2. Exploration

The offender begins seeking out potential victims and continues to fantasize about what they want to do to them. Over time, these fantasies become very elaborate and all-consuming. The offender may also begin researching various 'body dump’ sites, and collecting symbolic items like knives or rope.

3. Stalking

The offender begins actively stalking potential victims, and practises approaching them in a manner that will gain their trust. He may present himself as a person of authority, or become friendly with authority figures (only organized serial killers tend to go through this phase).

4. Capture

The offender is now purposefully looking for someone to kill. They may use stealth and sudden violence to overpower a victim, or they may charm their victim until the offender feels secure to begin the assault.

5. Murder

The offender finally realizes their fantasy and kills their intended victim. At this point, the offender is sexually satisfied and carries out their pre-planned method of body disposal (if they have one).

6. Evasion/Satisfaction

The offender remains excited and on edge once they see their crime reported on the news. If they took away a trophy from their victim, the offender will often keep it as a reminder of their crime and use it as a symbolic sexual aid. The offender feels invincible when/if the police fail to capture him.

7. Depression

The initial rush of killing someone has worn off and the offender begins to fantasize again. Feelings of guilt/fear may encroach at this stage, and the offender may commit suicide or hand themselves in. If they dont, the offender goes back to Phase 4, and the cycle begins again.

Yoosung

  • Ever since the two of you started dating, Yoosung has had plenty of dirty thoughts about what he wanted to do to you
  • But he’s nervous to ever bring up the idea of sex, that is until one day the two of you were watching a movie while cuddling
  • Yoosung could see your cleavage and prayed that you didn’t feel how hard he was getting, but you did
  • And that night, Yoosung Kim received his first blowjob
  • The amount of pleasure he felt was unreal and he wanted to return the favor but you brushed it off telling him that you were fine
  • As time went on, Yoosung kept receiving blowjobs from your magical mouth but he felt awful for never trying to give oral to you
  • One night after a passionate make-out session and the best blowjob he’s ever experienced, Yoosung decided to ask if you were ready to have sex
  • You immediately shook your head and hands, saying that your body wasn’t good enough for his
  • Yoosung felt his heart drop, he frowned but placed a gentle kiss on your cheek
  • “What are you talking about MC, your body is perfect! So what if you’re bigger, I still love you no matter what! Now please, let me pleasure you even though I may not be the best at it.”
  • After his speech, you and Yoosung finally made love for the first time and thanks to him, you finally accepted that you are indeed beautiful

Zen

  • The first time Zen saw you, he instantly knew that he was in love with you
  • So when you agreed to become his boyfriend, Zen’s heart swelled with happiness and this boy became horny
  • Every night Zen would imagine himself being intimate with you but he never brought it up out of fear that you’d think he was too pushy
  • So Zen kept his feelings suppressed, until one day he accidentally saw your naked form stepping out of the shower
  • Instantly hard, Zen tried to leave but you brought him closer, seeing his hardness and relieving him
  • That’s how yours and Zen’s relationship advanced, you would shower his body with pleasure but never want any in return, making Zen feel awful
  • After giving him the best blowjob to date, Zen stopped you from leaving the room and blurted out that he wanted to have sex with you
  • You brushed him off, saying that you deserved a prettier and skinnier girl to make love to and to touch
  • Zen grabbed a hold of your wrists and placed kisses all over your body to make up for lost affection
  • “Have you always felt this way MC? Please don’t, I love you for you! I won’t push you, but please know that I love every part of you okay?”
  • After Zen’s encouragement, the two of you had sex for the first time as Zen worshipped your body, making you slowly learn to love yourself

Jaehee

  • Being with another woman was a new experience for Jaehee, but she loved every minute being with you
  • The idea of being intimate had occurred to her but she was too flustered to bring up the idea
  • That is until one day when you walked in on a very stressed Jaehee
  • You smirked at her and told her you knew the best way to relieve stress
  • Jaehee felt like it was a dream, the way you moved your tongue along her folds as you are her out
  • Once spent, Jaehee turned to give you but you dismissed her attempts, making her confused
  • Your relationship continued like this, you would pleasure Jaehee but would always leave afterwards
  • One time after pleasuring her, she gripped on your arm and asked if you wanted to have sex
  • Your face turned bright red as you told her no, your body wasn’t good enough for one one as gorgeous as her
  • Jaehee couldn’t believe that you felt that way, she pulled you onto the bed with her as she held your hands lovingly
  • “Whatever you think of yourself, whether it be positive or negative, know that I’ll always love you MC. Your body is perfectly fine to me so please, don’t think those things about yourself.”
  • So you and Jaehee made love that night, with you starting to love yourself thanks to Jaehee

Jumin

  • Relationships built with love was something completely new to Jumin
  • Dating you made Jumin truly happy, but he wanted to take your relationship a step further
  • One day you walked into the living room only to spit your drink out to find Jumin reading a book about play boys
  • Before Jumin knew it, you were down on your knees unbuckling his belt and rubbing his hardening member
  • Jumin gave you a confused look that instantly turned into a look of pleasure as you gave Jumin the greatest blowjob imaginable
  • He went to pin you down on the couch to return the favor but you left the room before he could
  • From then on, Jumin would receive pleasure thanks to your mouth and hands but you’d never let him pleasure you
  • One day after a blowjob, Jumin made you stay next to him as he asked why he was never allowed to touch you
  • You shrugged saying that you weren’t nearly pretty or skinny enough to receive pleasure from him
  • Jumin wrapped you in his arms, rubbing your back soothingly as he dismissed your thoughts
  • “MC, you’re perfect and I sincerely love your looks. I want us to have a relationship where we love and accept each other and ourselves. Please never think those thoughts again.”
  • After Jumin’s kind words and the way he made you felt during sex, you thanked Jumin for learning how to love yourself

Seven

  • Being in a relationship with you was something that Seven didn’t think he deserved, but loved it
  • After going through his ‘I’m going to push you away to supposedly protect you’ phase, Seven wanted to show you how much he truly loved you
  • One day, Seven was getting touchy and wanted to try to show his love for you
  • But you suddenly stopped him and Seven received the greatest blowjob from you
  • He genuinely wanted you to feel good too but you left the room saying that it was fine
  • Your relationship consisted of you giving Seven all of the pleasure he could imagine but you would always refuse his attempts
  • Seven felt awful for not giving you the love you deserved so one day after yet another blowjob from you, he asked why he was never allowed to touch you
  • You felt your eyes start to water as you told Seven that your body was ugly and didn’t deserve any pleasure
  • Tackled by one of Seven’s hugs, you saw him looking sadly at you as he kissed you all over
  • “But your body is so beautiful MC! I think that you’re perfect and you’re crazy if you don’t think so. I love you so much MC, never change that gorgeous body of yours!”
  • You and Seven shared a night of passionate love with you smiling because of Seven’s kindness

Unknown

  • Your relationship with Saeran may have started off rocky, but learning to love you has become natural for him
  • Ever since your first kiss, a small peck on the lips, Saeran has been eager to take your relationship to the next level
  • One night Saeran accidentally spilled some water on your shirt, making him a blushing mess as he stared at your see-through shirt
  • You giggled as you saw a now notable bulge in his pants so you decided to relieve him
  • Never has Saeran felt such pleasure from anyone after that blowjob and he wanted to give you the same feeling
  • Except you refused anytime Saeran wanted to touch you, making him feel frustrated and guilty as you continued to pleasure him
  • So one night he pinned you down on the couch and started rubbing your clothes crotch and when you told him to stop, he wanted to know why
  • You looked away as you said that your body was too big and gross for pleasure
  • Saeran scoffed and gently flicked your forehead, kissing you afterwards
  • “Why would you even think that your body isn’t perfect? I think your body is amazing and that’s all that matters. I love you MC.“
  • You and Saeran shared a long night of love making, with you finally feeling truly loved thanks to Saeran

Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder (DSPD)

According to the International Classification of Sleep Disorders (ICSD), the circadian rhythm sleep disorders share a common underlying chronophysiologic basis:

The major feature of these disorders is a misalignment between the patient’s sleep pattern and the sleep pattern that is desired or regarded as the societal norm… In most circadian rhythm sleep disorders, the underlying problem is that the patient cannot sleep when sleep is desired, needed or expected.

The ICSD (page 128-133) diagnostic criteria for delayed sleep-phase disorder are:

  1. There is an intractable delay in the phase of the major sleep period in relation to the desired clock time, as evidenced by a chronic or recurrent complaint of inability to fall asleep at a desired conventional clock time together with the inability to awaken at a desired and socially acceptable time.
  2. When not required to maintain a strict schedule, patients will exhibit normal sleep quality and duration for their age and maintain a delayed, but stable, phase of entrainment to local time.
  3. Patients have little or no reported difficulty in maintaining sleep once sleep has begun.
  4. Patients have a relatively severe to absolute inability to advance the sleep phase to earlier hours by enforcing conventional sleep and wake times.
  5. Sleep–wake logs and/or actigraphy monitoring for at least two weeks document a consistent habitual pattern of sleep onsets, usually later than 2 a.m., and lengthy sleeps.
  6. Occasional noncircadian days may occur (i.e., sleep is “skipped” for an entire day and night plus some portion of the following day), followed by a sleep period lasting 12 to 18 hours.
  7. The symptoms do not meet the criteria for any other sleep disorder causing inability to initiate sleep or excessive sleepiness.

Some features of DSPD which distinguish it from other sleep disorders are:

  • People with DSPD have at least a normal—and often much greater than normal—ability to sleep during the morning, and sometimes in the afternoon as well. In contrast, those with chronic insomnia do not find it much easier to sleep during the morning than at night.
  • People with DSPD fall asleep at more or less the same time every night, and sleep comes quite rapidly if the person goes to bed near the time he or she usually falls asleep.
  • DSPD patients can sleep well and regularly when they can follow their own sleep schedule, e.g. on weekends and during vacations.
  • DSPD is a chronic condition. Symptoms must have been present for at least one month before a diagnosis of DSPD can be made.

People with DSPD can be called night owls. They feel most alert and say they function best and are most creative in the evening and at night. People with DSPD cannot simply force themselves to sleep early. They may toss and turn for hours in bed, and sometimes not sleep at all, before reporting to work or school. Less extreme and more flexible night owls, and indeed morning larks, are within the normal chronotype spectrum. *

So we’ve had pidge’s backstory and lance’s meaning now it’s time for Keith’s!

  • Alright so Keith was born to Ares and his mortal father in Texas
  • Growing up his dad was a little bit unconventional (by a little bit I mean a lot)
  • They lived out in the middle of the desert in a tiny shack
  • Keith never attended school, but his dad was a stickler for teaching him survival skills (along with reading and math- as those are both very handy)
  • So maybe Keith didn’t know who the 16th president was or the names of the moon phases when he was seven, but he did know how to shoot a crossbow and a rifle. He knew the best way to use a knife, how long you could survive without water, the best ways to find food shelter and water
  • It was a good life
  • Him and his dad didn’t really have money, but that didn’t matter since they were living off of the wild mostly
  • He was a happy kid, it was always just him and his dad
  • But that all changed when he was nine and his dad had a heart attack
  • Keith didn’t know he was a demigod, but he knew how to survive and that’s what he did after a day of grieving

prompt ~ Emma discovers that Regina is actually a huge dinosaur nerd (inspired by the framed picture in her mansion) and Regina gets embarrassed but Emma thinks it's adorable

Thanks for the prompt :)

Emma spends the first few days of living in the mansion simply exploring. Since she lives here now, she figured she best know the place inside and out. It’s been incredible to see all the things she never took to notice - the things that make up her home…their home.

She smiles as she wanders into a dining room near the back of the house frowning in confusion at a framed picture of a dinosaur. It seems strange and out of place given that most of the photos in the mansion are family ones or ones of animals.

“Are you exploring again?” Regina asks appearing in the doorway, “Have you settled on a favourite room yet?”

Emma grins, “I think we both know my favourite place in this mansion is in your arms.”

“You’re so cheesy,” Regina tells her.

“I am…you inspire cheesiness,” Emma replies walking over and kissing her lovingly, “So…dinosaurs? Random?”

Regina blushes slightly, “Henry went through a dinosaur phase?”

“When he was seven, he told me…but that’s not his.”

“How do you know?”

“Because if it was his he’d have it in his room with the rest of his nerdy posters - this is yours.”

“How do you know?”

“You’ve framed it and put it on display in your dining room which means you like it…you’re a dinosaur nerd.”

Regina’s blush darkens as she ducks her head away, “I…I simply find them fascinating. We never had anything like that in the Enchanted Forest and when I found out about them I wanted to know everything…why are you smiling at me like that?”

Emma beams wrapping her arms around her as she replies, “Because I love learning these things about you…my dinosaur nerd. Hey…does this mean I can put my Jurassic Park movie poster up?”

Timeless Part 5

“But, Captain….I didn’t send any corrections to Seven?” Harry’s voice crackles slightly over the comm link.

The bridge crew look at Captain Janeway and then at Seven.

Seven raises an eyebrow at her station, she clearly looks perturbed.

Janeway stalks up and down the command deck, hand on hip, a frown developing across her brow. Something isn’t right here, something feels wrong, but there’s no time for that. She comes to a halt and folds her arms. She looks up at the ceiling and tries to hold back the wave of disappointment as the truth develops around her.

They failed.

“We will have plenty of time to go over all the details, Mr Kim. Set a course to dock the Flyer with Voyager. All senior staff will meet at 13:00 hours for a full team debrief.” Janeway announces, she doesn’t even try to keep the disappointment from her voice and silently curses herself for that momentary weakness. She berates herself and makes a mental note to speak personally to Harry to make sure he doesn’t blame himself too severely.

She leans against the rails of the command deck, her head falling forward and sighs.

“So near, yet not near enough,” she mutters. She pushes herself back upright and looks towards the view screen. A screen that still shows the star systems of the Delta Quadrant rather than the welcome blue marble of Earth.

At his station, Tom Paris turns round to look at her.

“Closer then we were, though,” he says with a shrug. He offers her a look that tells her to be more positive.

Janeway steels herself, her mouth a thin line, her jaw set so hard it almost hurts. She nods at her helmsman. Message received and understood.

“Make the necessary arrangements with the Flyer and alert me when they are ready to dock. I’ll be in my ready room.” she addresses Tom and turns to leave the bridge.

*~*

Janeway strides into shuttlebay one as soon as the Delta Flyer docks. She stands, hands on hips, waiting impatiently to get the whole story of the failed Slipstream Drive. She tries to remind herself of the positives of the day’s mission, but to her dismay, she’s struggling.

Inside the shuttle, Chakotay completes the shutdown sequence, but something doesn’t feel right. Nausea washes over him, followed by a sense of foreboding. His stomach twists and churns, he clutches the console for a moment, praying that he won’t be sick. He can’t put his finger on it. It’s like Deja Vu, but different. Almost like he’s been here before. But in a different way. In a different time. A shiver runs down his spine. He feels a cold sweat pass through his body and swallows back the bile rising into his mouth.

He shuts the Flyer down and turns to Harry. Harry looks pale, as though he’s seen a ghost. He runs a hand through his hair. Chakotay looks at him, mistaking his grimace as fear of the Captain and what she will say.

“Don’t worry, Harry. It was a simple mistake, the Captain will understand.” he offers as reassurance.

Harry shakes his head, “It’s not that. I just feel odd, like I’ve been here before.”

Chakotay frowns. It’s how he’s feeling too. He gathers his things and heads towards the hatch, Harry behind him.

“I didn’t send that correction to Seven, I swear, I didn’t.” Harry mutters, as if to himself.

Chakotay feels his vision begin to swim, the room contorting before his eyes, “We can talk about it later. I have to get out of here,” he grimaces, swallowing hard. His legs are like jelly as he reaches for the hatch.

“I think I’m going to be sick,” Harry gasps.

Janeway steps closer to the shuttle as the hatch hisses open. She feels the lurch of her heart as Chakotay comes into view, images from the previous night floating perilously close to the forefront of her mind. She moves to meet him at the bottom of the gangway and frowns slightly as she catches his expression. He is pale and a sheen of sweat covers his face. He appears to be panting, staggering towards her.

“Chakotay?” she asks, no rank, just concern for the man, her friend, and as of last night, her lover.

He lunges forward, he can’t understand it, it feels like he hasn’t seen her for years, yet he knows it is mere hours since he left her bed, since they embarked on their day’s work. All he feels now is the desperate urge to touch her, to know she’s real.

He makes it almost to where she is standing before he collapses forward, she reacts quickly and he finds himself in her arms, but his legs and her body cannot hold him, they both stagger and she lets her legs give way and sink with him to the floor.

“Ayala!” Kathryn shouts to her security officer. The syllables of his name have barely left her mouth before Ayala is at her side, taking the majority of Chakotay’s weight, allowing her to remove herself from beneath her stricken First Officer.

“Chakotay?” she asks, moving to kneel over him, her hands either side of his face.

His eyes are wide, pupils dilated, a bead of sweat trickling down over his tattoo.

“You’re alive!” he manages to gasp, his hands grabbing at her upper arms. He can’t stop the words leaving his mouth, there’s no reason to say it, and yet, somewhere deep in his mind, it makes perfect sense.

Janeway looks up at Ayala, she can see he’s as concerned and confused as she is. She looks across at Harry, who is in no better shape. He’s slumped on the floor, a stunned expression on his young face, he suddenly bends forward and vomits violently onto the floor of the bay. She needs to see no more and calls the Doctor for an emergency beam out to sickbay for the two men.

As the shimmering blue fades, leaving only Janeway in the shuttle bay with Ayala, she turns to him. He looks worried as he gets to his feet, he rubs his forehead and gives his head an almost imperceptible shake.

“I’m sorry I didn’t get you home today,” she says softly, realising she will have to apologise to them all.

Ayala shrugs, holds his hand out to her and pulls her to her feet.

“No worries, Captain. There’s always tomorrow.”

Janeway studies him for a moment, relieved to see he is being honest. A brilliant smile erupts across her face and she pats his shoulder with a nod, “There’s always tomorrow,” she agrees.

Hours later, after studying the data, the reports from the Doctor, re-running simulations and reviewing the message received by Seven, the conclusion is obvious; if they had used Harry’s corrections, Voyager would have been thrown from the slipstream, resulting in certain death for all the crew onboard.

Harry and Chakotay recover quickly from their moment in the shuttle bay and are there for the 13:00 team debrief, they have put the little episode on the Flyer down to the stress and disappointment of the situation, but the Captain has other ideas.

She reveals her theory of a temporal anomaly and the potential idea that the timeline has been changed. They are all set to task to investigate further.

It’s not long before a hidden message within the phase corrections received by Seven does indeed show a temporal variance, confirming Janeway’s theory. A message from the future to the past, a future that now no longer exists. It’s a lot for them all to take in and the mood on Voyager is quiet and reflective.

There is no joking around, no laughter, just quiet acceptance, everyone lost in their own thoughts.

*~*

Chakotay is laid on the sofa in his quarters, staring up at the ceiling, he is trying to make sense of the day’s events. The message from Harry Kim to Harry Kim. The change of timeline. A change that finds him lying in his quarters, the rest of the crew safe and alive compared to the alternate timeline where they would be dead and he would be living a nightmare.

15 years.

He closes his eyes, he can still sense something deep in the back of his mind, hazy thoughts he can’t hold on to, he chases them around his mind, even though something warns him they are memories he would not fondly recall.

The chime on his door rings before 21:00 hours. Without moving from his spot, he calls for entry. He knows who it will be. He turns his head to watch her, she moves towards him, her jacket has been discarded somewhere and she has removed her boots. There’s an unreadable look on her face.

She slides over him without a word, settling herself half across his chest and half resting against the back of the sofa. She lays a hand upon his chest and wriggles her hips so she fits perfectly against him and the sofa. She rests her chin on the hand resting on his chest and looks up at him.

He smirks at her indulgently. A wave of something close to gratitude sweeps over him.

“Comfy?” he asks, his arm wrapping around her, making no attempt to hide the delight he feels at her actions. Considering the determined set of her jaw that morning as they dressed and the way she looked at him as he left her quarters, he had honestly believed that if the mission failed, she wouldn’t come anywhere near him again. Having her now laid across his body is more than he could have ever dared to dream about.

“Very,” she answers, smiling back up at him. Her face suddenly stills, her eyes taking on a look of concern. “How are you?”

He sighs and looks back up at the ceiling. “Confused. Grateful. Disappointed. Happy.” he says softly. “I don’t know how I am.”

“Well, I’m grateful. Without you and Harry, 150 people would all be dead.” She’s still looking up at him and unconsciously he pulls her closer.

“But, we didn’t get home,” Chakotay sighs. He’s not sure how he feels about that. Home to him is Voyager, but home also means anywhere Kathryn is.

“There’s always tomorrow,” Kathryn answers, a smile playing across her face as she recalls Ayala’s blasé attitude.

Chakotay laughs long and richly, “Kathryn Janeway, you never cease to amaze me!”

She looks up with a grin, lifting herself up to look more clearly into his face. “Why?”

“I thought you’d be pacing the corridors like a caged beast. Yelling at the injustice. Sulking in your quarters…” Chakotay looks down with a grin.

“I don’t sulk!” Kathryn huffs indignantly. “And, beast? Thank you!”

“I thought you’d be avoiding me…” he adds gently. Afraid that it still might be the case.

She plays with a loose thread on his jacket, her face flickering through a range of emotions.

“Chakotay…..I….maybe I should be. But today….it’s been, hard, and,15 years….” she struggles with the words.

“Must have been hell.” He grimaces at the thought, did that really happen to him? What did it do to him?

“I’d rather get home tomorrow, or next week, or in 10 years, but with us all alive than risk everything today.” Kathryn draws a pattern across his chest. Listening to the message from a Harry Kim of the future had opened her eyes. He had looked like hell, all down to her reckless insistence they go ahead with the mission. He had had to live with that mistake.

“15 years. I can’t imagine how we lived with it,” Chakotay says as if reading her mind.

She looks up at him and offers a playful smile, she reaches up and gently strokes her hand down the side of his face.

“Did you miss me?”

Something twists Chakotay’s stomach, a physical pain that rips briefly through his being, “Yes…” he gasps. He pulls her closer, his hand gripping at the material of her trousers, his entire being tensing with something he can’t define. As the pain passes, he carefully relaxes, his grip on her loosening. “I’m sure I did.”

“Hey,” she says softly, her hand tilting his chin towards her, making him look at her, “that timeline has gone.”

He nods softly. “Thank the Spirits.”

She lays her head back onto his chest and sighs softly. Chakotay lays still, looking back at the ceiling.

“Kathryn, what are we doing?” he asks the panels above his head.

She lifts her head and smiles, “Well, I think we are laid on a sofa.”

He smiles at that and turns his head, “I mean this. Us.”

Kathryn’s eyes sparkle, she pulls herself up and straddles his waist, resting her hands onto his chest, leaning forward to place a kiss just shy of his mouth.

“What do you want it to be?” she asks against his mouth. Her hair falls forward and tickles at his cheek and he can’t help but inhale the scent of her, his hands wrapping around her hips. He never wants to let her go and is beginning to believe she feels the same.

“I want it to be you and me. Together.” he says softly, hardly daring to hope.

“I meant what I said last night,” Kathryn answers, kissing at the other corner of his mouth. “It’s you I want. You I need.”

She traces kisses along his jaw, nipping gently at his skin, revelling in the feel of him. Yes, this is exactly what she wants and needs.

“Voyager. The crew. Protocol…” Chakotay says the words as if they are poisonous.

Kathryn stills and pushes herself upright and she cocks her head to one side, “For someone who says they want this, you’re offering a lot of potential obstacles.”

“I want you,” he says, his hands gripping her hips a little tighter and shivers slightly as she rolls her hips over his groin.

“Then, protocol be damned! 15 years, Chakotay. We cheated time today, I don’t think we should waste any more of it.” She lets a soft smile begin to play across her lips. “Do you?”

A smile slowly blooms across his face and he shakes his head, his hands hold her hips in place and she leans back down, their lips meeting for a soft, sensual kiss.

“I’ve missed you today,” she murmurs between kisses. Her hips rocking gently over his.

He groans softly and wrapping his arms around her back, rolls her to the side and shifts himself so that he’s looming half over her. She smiles up at him.

“You have no idea,” he growls leaning down to kiss at her neck.

“Are you with me?” she murmurs softly in his ear.

“Always,” he responds immediately and then drowns out any further words with his mouth on hers.

The End.

Memories ~ Barry Allen imagine

“Where did you find that?!” you went as fast as you could  to take it away from his hands, but in a flash, he was in the other side of the room.
“Come on baby! You look so cute dressed like a cowgirl”  he showed you the page with the old photo.
“Barry, give it to me” you demanded.
“Okay, okay” he semmed to have gave up easily. But knowing he knew how you got whenever you were really pissed it didn’t surprise you.

However, when he was about to give it back, he rushed into the sofa.

“I’ll give it to you if we see it at least once. Together”

At this point there were only two ways that things could go. One, you will keep trying to get the album back. Or, two: you’ll let your fury out. The truth was that your boyfriend thought it will be the second option. It was the oposite

“No, please Barry don’t let me go trough the shame” you pleaded trying in a failed attempt to get back the book.

Finally, with his puppy dog eyes and the fact that he had the album, you agreed not very excite.

You touched the leather cove. Your mother had given it to you as a present  when you moved out.

Slowly you opened it.

Barry awed “you were a cute baby”

"I was a ball of cuteness and chubbiness”
In the next pages it was Barry awing and you explaining why you had spaghetti sauce all over you, or why you were squishing the life out of a hamster.

“Crap”

You tried to hide the photo but Barry was (unsurprisingly) faster

The expected laugh came right away
“Stop laughing” you hit him in the arm “it just was a phase”
It was seven grade you dress like a rapper because you though it looked cool.
The worst is that you wore it a lot, so the next three pages were filled with the baga clothes, golden chaina and caps.
After Barry had finished laughing he tried to put an arm around you, in atempt to pull you closer to him.
“Oh come on! Don’t be mad” he pouted when you din’t let him
“I was young!” you excused yourself
“How did they let you were that?” He asked
“I insisted that if they didn’t let me it was a ‘crime against my liberty, USA-USA!’” you answered
The next pages showed your graduation, you leaving to collage, your brother wedding…
The last one was you holding the diploma of your college. It was one of the best days of your life. Finally being rewarded after all those years of work, weeks without sleeping and days without getting out of your dorm.

"You should continue it” your boyfriend suggested.

“Nah, too much work. I keep all my memories in the phone gallery”
He smiled and kissed your head, trying again to pull you closer and succeeding

“Its a shame, I think your mom worked hard on it”

“Are you trying to persuade me with sentimentalism?”

“Just wait a sec”
You would have sworn that he hadn´t leave the place, but the polagram photo in his hand proved you wrong.
“Why not start filling it?” he handed it to you
It was a picture of you. You were in bed cuddling. He was sleeping, his hair messy and his chin rested on the top of your head. You were snuggled next to him doing silly faces to ease the boredom.
You smiled remembering that Sunday
“You know what, I think your right” you turned your head to him “Maybe the memory of the phone is erased by some nasty bastard”
“That wasn´t the point” the speedster sighed

Some Age of Sigmar rules

Grandfather’s Joy: If a Great Unclean One uses this ability, then whenever you roll a 7 for a Nurgle Daemon unit in your next charge phase you can shout ‘seven’ in mirthful tones. If you do, that unit can make 1 extra attack with each of its melee weapons in the following combat phase.

Secrets and Ciphers: When you make a casting or unbinding roll for Kairos Fateweaver, add 2 to the result of the roll if, just before rolling the dice, you can correctly spell the spell’s name backwards, aloud, without hesitating or looking it up.

The Endless Dance: If you are dancing while rolling the dice for the Masque’s attacks in the combat phase, you can reroll any failed hit rolls. If, at any point, you can coerce your opponent to join in, you can re-roll any failed wound rolls as well.

The Gift of Tongues: At the start of the combat phase, Wulfrik can issue an indelicate challenge in his foe’s tongue if there is an enemy Hero within 3". Issue your opponent with a challenge of your own – you can be as mocking, rude or insulting as you dare; if your opponent rises to the bait and they change expression, even so much as crack a smile or a glimmer of shock, Wulfrik’s challenge is successful and you can re-roll failed hit rolls for any attacks he makes this phase against enemy Heroes.

Supreme Vanity: Sigvald is narcissism personified, unable to go more than a few moments without seeking a mirrored surface. You can re-roll failed save rolls for Sigvald if you can see your reflection or are holding a mirror when you roll the dice. However, if the result of any of these re‑rolls is 1, Sigvald becomes entranced by his own perfection, and cannot pile in or make attacks for the rest of the phase.

Timber!: If a Chaos Giant is slain, both players roll a dice, and whoever rolls highest decides in which direction the Giant falls (the player commanding the model wins any ties). Place the Giant on its side in the direction in which it falls – any unit (friend or foe) it lands on suffers D3 mortal wounds. Remove the Giant after resolving any damage caused by its falling body.

Drunken Stagger: If you roll a double when making a charge roll for a Giant, it immediately falls over instead of making the charge move. Determine the direction the Giant falls and the damage it causes as if it had been slain (see Timber!), but instead of removing the Giant after resolving the damage caused by its falling body, stand the model back up again as the Giant drunkenly regains its feet!

Petrifying Gaze: The magical gaze of a Cockatrice can transfix foes where they stand, turning them to stone. In your shooting phase, pick a visible unit within range, look your opponent in the eye and roll a dice. Add one to the roll if your opponent blinks first and subtract one from the roll if you do. If the result is 4 or more, the target unit is caught in the Cockatrice’s gaze and suffers D6 mortal wounds.

More-more Speed: A Doomwheel cannot run. Instead, before rolling to see how far a Doomwheel can move, the skaven crew can goad the Rat Horde to run faster. If they do so, you can move twice the total distance rolled, but if you roll a double, the crew momentarily lose control and your opponent can move the Doomwheel in this phase instead.

Mortarch of Night: If it is nighttime, or you cannot see the sun, you can add 1 to all hit and wound rolls for Gheistvor.

One Bat Short of a Belfry: Konrad is a violent lunatic, and his temper does little to help his stretched sanity. If, during your hero phase, you talk to Konrad von Carstein, you can re-roll all hit rolls of 1 for him until your next hero phase. If Konrad von Carstein talks back to you, re‑roll all failed hit rolls instead.

And He Did Say ‘War’, and the World Did Tremble…: If Settra the Imperishable uses this ability, you must hold out your hand and utter ‘War’ in a supremely commanding tone. If you do, then until your next hero phase you can add 1 to all hit rolls for Death units in your army that are within 18" of Settra in the combat phase. If a Deathrattle unit is affected by this ability, you can also add 1 to their wound rolls in the combat phase. However, if Settra is your general, you must not kneel for any reason during the battle. If you do, even once, you immediately lose the battle. Settra does not kneel!

Everyone Has Their Price: If Greasus Goldtooth uses this ability, select an enemy unit anywhere on the battlefield and choose one of the effects listed below: - The unit cannot move in its next turn. - The unit cannot move, attack or cast spells in its next turn. - All models in the unit immediately flee. - The unit changes sides and immediately comes under your control. Then, offer your opponent a bribe (this can be anything you want to offer). If your opponent accepts your bribe, the chosen effect takes place – otherwise, nothing happens. Players are free to haggle over the offered bribe, or propose a counter-offer…

Great Book of Grudges: When Thorgrim is set up, select an enemy unit on the battlefield. You can re-roll any failed wound rolls when a Dispossessed model from your army targets that unit. In addition, if you lose the battle, write down the name of your opponent’s general. The next time Thorgrim faces this general, you can select an additional 3 enemy units for this ability to apply to (one must be or include the enemy general).

Process of writing
  • Phase one: this is a great idea
  • Phase two: I have lots of plot ideas, character development, and smut, it's going to be the best thing I've ever written
  • Phase three: wow this is taking a long time to write
  • Phase four: this plot doesn't work, these characters are stupid and the smut is bland
  • Phase five: I have invested so much time in this, I just have to keep going
  • Phase six: I hate this story
  • Phase seven: I would rather be writing anything other than this unsalvageable piece of crap and I have no idea why I started writing it in the first place
  • Phase eight: ???

Chapter three: Subjects

White walls. Always white, so you don’t get distracted with anything. White mosaics, easy to clean and cold enough to cool rooms. Lights, neon lights everywhere, dazzling anyone who isn’t used to them, anyone who had just woken up or isn’t in their five senses. That’s how their facilities always were, those buildings no one would dare to go; the kind of place one doesn’t come back form.
How many hours had she stayed in that cold room? There was no way of knowing, but despite the white walls, thoughts flooded her head. When was she going to die? She knew she was, or else why would they bring her here? She scanned the room the best she could; her body was numb, and only her head could move. The only sound she could hear was the one the lights made when they flickered, not even the screen in front of her emitted any sound. Was it even a screen or was it just a mirror? Maybe someone was watching from the other side, it was very likely. Her eyes travelled to her arm, something was injected in her vein. She couldn’t see what it was, but it made her skin look quite pale and her veins seemed bluer, dark blue was it. This isn’t normal, why haven’t I died?
And it hit her, frustration, despair. Things one wouldn’t normally feel in this world, where emotions were controlled. Her heart was beating too fast, her left arm was beginning to hurt, her mind went blank and the lights seemed to shine more intensely. She was having a heart attack, or so she thought.

Subject number twenty seven, experimental phase number one. Completed

“Wait! Where are you taking me… Sehun? I have to tell my mother… and Bella…” Balie couldn’t see where she was going, Sehun made sure her eyes were closed before they all stood together in the middle of the classroom, holding each other’s hands.
“She can’t be here. No one can know where we are”. Jongin’s voice broke the silence while Balie tried to guess what they were all doing. “Now stand still or you’ll get dizzy”. Even in the year they were, where technology was highly advanced, no one had managed to develop human transportation. When Balie opened her eyes, she didn’t see the classroom where just a few minutes ago they were in, instead the four were in what it seemed an abandoned tunnel, with no lights to see.
–The tunnels- Balie thought. As for what she knew, the place didn’t exist anymore. It was just a rumour, a myth. It was referred as the place where the “mistakes” were sent to die. But no one had heard of them in quite some time; the government gave the impression of being perfect and all errors or mistakes were eradicated. Or so they all believed, but Balie knew for certain it wasn’t true. Entire families like hers were constituted by these so called “errors”, hiding and acting their whole lives as if they were part of this utopian world. But they were far from perfection, from equity.
What are we doing here? Here’s where…. The outcasts ‘live’- “I know what you are thinking” Sehun said. “But you’d be surprised of what those people managed to do, and we are with them, and you. We came here to save the ‘different’”.
It was cold, Balie was shaking. Either was the humid but cold place or that she was scared of how her life had changed in a few minutes. She wasn’t sure what she was doing with Sehun; the three boys now seemed taller and stronger, scarier and powerful and she couldn’t quite understand what made them look that way.
“You guys don’t get it, she is like me”
The three boys were confused, clueless to what she meant. Looking at each other, the three questioned Balie, demanding some sort of explanation.
“You think I would have managed to survive twenty years by my own? You have to go back and bring my best friend here.”
“So… she is like you?” Kyungsoo asked. Balie could have sworn some kind of panic crossed his yes. “She is… an exception?”
“What are you guys talking about? She is like me okay? She feels and thinks. We aren’t the robots the other people are, and if I’m gone, they are going to find out and take her” If Balie hadn’t started to cry out of frustration, they wouldn’t have believed her. They’ve seen tears before, they weren’t affected by them anymore; but seeing a human reacting to waves of frustration and fear, was something else. Almost in all the known worlds, those feelings were suppressed, because they brought chaos and rebellion and stood in the way of ‘freedom’.
“So…. She is like us.” Sehun clarified, as if Balie could understand whatever they were talking about.
“Like.. us? What are we?”
They call us Monsters. But we are known in our world as the Lucky ones”

How did you get over him? ”She asked me while holding back tears, “It hurts so much. I don’t think I’ll ever get over this.”

I gently wipe the few tears that escaped from her eyes. “Oh honey, believe me. I’ve been exactly where you are right now. I was in that phase for almost seven months. You feel like dying, like your heart is being ripped out of your chest. You’ll cry so much that even makeup can’t hide the dark circles under your eyes. You become depressed. And when he gets a new girlfriend every week, it will be the most agonizing pain you’ve ever experienced. You’ll be on the bathroom floor sobbing for hours and hours wondering why you weren’t good enough. I’m not going to lie to you. Its going to be absolute hell without him.

But to answer your question, I think I moved on when I decided that it was enough. The constant tears, the overwhelming misery, the fake smiles, I got so tired of being in constant pain. The pain was too much for me to handle anymore. Especially when he had already moved on from me a long time ago. But I couldn’t live like that any longer. I had to stop checking on him, I had to let go of all the hurt and pain he caused me, I had to stop thinking about him. I needed to move on and I finally did. And truthfully, I’ve never felt better.” I say as I tuck of piece of hair behind her ear.

“There is no key to moving on. There is no time frame. And unfortunately, there is no guide to tell you how to do it. It could take weeks or months or even years. But I do know one thing. You will eventually move on, no matter how long it takes you. No matter how many sleepless nights you have crying on your pillow, you will get through this. I know because I was you. One day, you will find someone so much better who will actually treat you right and love you in all the ways that he never did. And when that day comes, you will be happy. You will finally feel free. Although you lost him, you will find yourself. And perhaps that’s the best lesson of all.

—  K.S // Going through a heartbreak changes you. It turns you into a completely different new person. But sometimes, change is for the better, even when you never wanted it.
Horoscope for May 29th, 2016
  • Aries: If you feel suffocated by your romantic relationships, if you feel they lack some spice or are too traditional, then why not liberate yourself? There is a feeling in the air that life is turning in a positive direction. This will help you set things up to turn even your craziest ideas into reality. Starting today, you're going to be asked to be more concrete.
  • Taurus: During the last few months, it could be that you've met some strange people who have greatly influenced your attitude about marriage or partnership. They've been pushing you to get more freedom into your life. If this is indeed the case, you can feel quite sure that they've come under a cosmic influence. That's no reason for you to agree. Freedom or lack of freedom is completely subjective.
  • Gemini: The last months have been very challenging - and there's a very good chance that you no longer feel up to meeting the challenges. If you've been yearning to modify something in your daily life, do it now. The hour has come to make concrete changes. Regardless of whether the change you seek is at home or work, physical or emotional, don't be afraid to seriously upset your life.
  • Cancer: A change has occurred in our solar system, a shift that will probably be imperceptible but nonetheless profound. You have seven months to understand how this change impacts you. It will dawn on you that you feel a strong need for liberation. Perhaps you need to release yourself from the bonds of a group. Innovation is in the air!
  • Leo: You mustn't expect any enormous changes today. However, the process you began three or four years ago will accelerate slightly. You're changing the moorings of your identity, the ideas that make you sure of who you are. Your family, background, and education no longer count as much as your spiritual foundations. Don't be afraid of this shift. Go with it.
  • Virgo: The day should be fairly positive, and you'll begin to feel the faintest hints of a major change beginning. This new phase will last seven months. As it progresses, you'll find greater freedom of expression. You can expect to shift into high gear in subjects you used to avoid. Some friction with siblings is likely to arise in the next few months.
  • Libra: The solar system is shifting gears today, and it's liable to trigger a great transformation that will last seven months. The change will center on the means you use to fulfill yourself in terms of both your career and love life. If you feel somewhat hemmed in by your training or upbringing, you can expect to seek liberation from these inhibitions in the months to come.
  • Scorpio: It's an excellent forecast for you! Although no specific events will occur, there is the huge promise of freedom over the next seven months. A fundamental shift is about to occur in your occupation and love life, As the months unfold, you can expect to be more visionary, more creative, and perhaps more rebellious. This time, you'll be much more effective than in the past two or three years.
  • Sagittarius: To understand the major shift that's taking place, you must look at events from a lofty perspective. A slow-acting liberation is gathering momentum. In the next seven months, you'll be unable to resist the opportunity to rid yourself of some oppressive part of your past. You'll shed your old complexes and emerge renewed. Don't be alarmed if some family relations suffer as a result. The distress is only temporary.
  • Capricorn: The gentle winds of change are blowing through your life at the moment. You have a feeling of newness and an open attitude toward the world. Some outside events will be coming up in your life that give you the impression you're advancing in a concrete manner toward a new life. You can expect to have some pleasant surprises.
  • Aquarius: The idea of a turning point in one's destiny often brings a smile to the faces of cynical people, but in your case, it definitely has some meaning. This turning point can take the form of a new person in your life or a key event that changes things forever. Sometimes things that we only hear about actually happen. Something like this may happen to you in the coming months.
  • Pisces: It may be that you've returned deeply changed from a long voyage. Of course, we're all changed to some extent by travel, but in your case, the change is truly profound. You're going to have some problems getting back into the life you had before you left. Your old life is likely to feel too limiting to you. So what are you waiting for? Change it!
