Shimon loves games. Under halcyon situations , or festivities , he would approach his “free” time to gamble with other lords , and with the other priests on the time of Pharaoh Aknamkanon for fun , instead of the reward he would gain from it. His constant winning gave him the reputation for being a master of games , never losing a single game or bet he would play , making him also a good military strategist when assisting Pharaoh Aknamkanon during the war before and after the creation of the millenium items. His challenging personality enabled him to use his experience with games to challenge others , or tease them into a game in order to win a dispute ; and Atem was not an exception. The quality time he spent with the Prince was teaching him game after game , until it became a method to put an argument to sleep , fully aware that he was going to have to cease against his wishes , in case Atem were to win. Those challenges he had with the Prince were more constant at night , whenever Shimon caught him in the act of escaping the palace– if Atem were to win the game , Shimon would not stop him and he would be free to leave ; if he were to lose , he would have to go back to his room.
