Trippstadt, The Palatinate Forest, Germany

I used to live really close to this town, and totally loved visiting it! It’s really quaint and lovely.  I was actually reading about the area I lived in (for nostalgia’s sake) and found out that the air is so clean that it’s considered a Climatic Health Resort.  I knew there was a reason I thought it was easier to breathe over there.  Also, the Palatinate Forest in Rheinland-Pfalz/Rhineland-Palatinate (where I lived) in the southwest of the country, bordering France, is Germany’s largest unified wooded area.  The region is also well-known for its castles, and is ideal for hiking and biking.
