Peyton woke up this morning and said, “I want to go adventurin.” So, we found a state park a little less than an hour away that we haven’t been to yet. It was a nice little hour hike and had some pretty scenery. Peyton really enjoyed it. Logan wasn’t having a very good time but he enjoyed the playground after the hike. It was perfect weather.
If every morning you look at your child as a gift from God, a blessing that He has bestowed today, and thank Him for that blessing, you will approach your children with love, patience, and grace. You have to bow your knee and say, “God, you really are good and you knew exactly what you were doing when you gave me this child.
I think that the best thing we can do for our children is to allow them to do things for themselves, allow them to be strong, allow them to experience life on their own terms, allow them to take the subway… let them be better people, let them believe more in themselves.
