After many many many requests, emails, & comments, I have finally decided to write up & offer my “Feed Me Primal” Meal Plans.
This is the diet tips/tricks and guidelines that I have followed in order to turn my body into the overly capable machine I wanted to be.

This plan is based on REAL FOOD - No supplements are necessary (although I will offer my thoughts and recommendations on those as well). You asked for it/ you got it!

“The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that you’re a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds.
Muscle mass does not always equal strength. Strength is kindness and sensitivity. Strength is understanding that your power is both physical and emotional. That it comes from the body and the mind. And the heart.” -Henry Rollins by petitefi

The #Deadlift:

Feet are directly in front of hips, toes pointed forward, weight in the heels

Back, belly and butt are tight – shoulder blades are retracted onto the back and pulled down

Each hand grips onto a weight on each side; “suitcase” style with dumbbells parallel to the feet and close to the body

Arms are loose – simply there as straps holding on – not pulling

Hips are raised creating tension in the hamstrings

Chest is inflated and up – pulled through the arms

Spine remains in neutral position

Pressing out of the heels - hips and shoulders raise at the same time

Bring hips to full extension in an upright standing position *DO NOT:

Allow shoulders or low back to round forward

Raise with the back or shoulders first - hips and chest lift at the same time

Come into your toes - stay planted firm in your heels.

Happy Lifting! 💪 by petitefi

“Only after disaster can we be resurrected. It’s only after you’ve lost everything that you’re free to do anything. Nothing is static, everything is evolving, everything is falling apart.” ― Chuck Palahniuk. By the amazing @eparrillaphotos for his #BodyNotion series by petitefi

Had a long conversation with a friend tonight about the sexualization of women’s bodies in our society today. How the entire world from advertisers down to personal biases demand women to be sexual objects and yet when a woman embraces her own sexuality, she is demonized and discredited. I personally believe this stems from ingrained insecurities enforced to make us believe that there is only so much attention to go around - and worse yet the idea that attention is a substantial and ONLY validation of the self.

A cycle of jealousy and hatred is created all over a completely meaningless ideology.
So in light of the day - here is an ass appreciation post. Because my body is just a body that’s not harming anyone, because I am female who can be sexual and intelligent and humble and kind and socially aware and validated. Because fuck macho bullshit and female competition. And because squats and tacos by petitefi
