You may not be an overweight cat, but you can love your body and possibly ascend into memehood. Now, you too can be BODE.
What You’ll Need~
Picture of bode cat (printed)
A small offering (food, cat toy, catnip, donation to animal shelter, etc.)
Ya’ll are set man, I make simple spells.
Print out your cat picture.
On the back write: bode cat bless me to be bodacious.
After doing this be prepared to deploy your offering. If it is a cat toy or catnip give it to your cat. If you have money to spare you could mail or hand in a donation to a pet shelter or animal charity.
This picture of a bode cat is your little communication portal to the magic that be. Tell it that this your offering, and you are putting what you have out there as an offering, in exchange for some of your own bode.
You can burn the cat photo when you are done. It’s fine. Make sure to thank it and tell it that you are satisfied once this is over.
Please keep in mind that IDK what deities you do or do not believe in. This photo of a cat is acting as a way to communicate your desires with the world.
Then don’t you even dare release them into the wild. My parents own a pet store and we’ve just had a customer come in to tell us that he had found a 1-2 year old CORN SNAKE in his back garden. Corn snakes are not native to England, nor are they suited to surviving in the British countryside. If you release any pets which are not native to your country then the odds are that THEY WILL DIE in a matter of days. England is far too cold to accommodate a corn snake, which thrives in warm climates. This goes for any pet. Releasing small animals like lizards, hamsters, tortoises, reptiles etc etc is as good as throwing them off a bridge. They will definitely die.
Please, if you have any unwanted pets then try to find animal welfare centres to take them off your hands. If you can’t find any, then please give them to your nearest pet store. Most of the time we will try to resell them to a loving home (sometimes if we can’t we’ll end up giving them to organisations like the RSPCA). Please do not just release them because they’ll either die from hypothermia or starvation. Animals born and raised in captivity do not have the knowledge or skills to provide for themselves in the wild.
tldr; Releasing unwanted pets will kill them. Don’t do it or else I’ll hurt you.
Dora came into the shelter after being shot in the back by a hunting arrow. Fortunately, the arrow narrowly missed her spinal cord and major organs, but it was soon realised that treatment would be complicated by the fact that Dora was pregnant!
With the help of some amazing vets, Dora went on to a full recovery and later gave birth to twin kids. She’s now living a happy life in a new home with her son, Boots.

When I see all the posts of people on tumblr begging for money to save their pet cause they can't afford vet bills I am not immune to sympathy. but that doesn't change the fact that YOU SHOULDN'T GET A PET IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD VETERINARY CARE FOR THEM! Pets get sick. Pets break legs. This costs money. You don't have to be well off to have a pet as long as you PUT EMERGENCY MONEY ASIDE JUST IN CASE SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THEM.
You can't beg tumblr for money like you are somehow entitled to it because of this horrible tragedy. I mean I hope you get the money for the sake of the animal but that was YOUR responsibility to ensure you had the means to care for your animal and nobody else's.
I really love thinking about all the Avengers having their charity work pet projects.
Of course, Steve does a lot for Veterans’ affairs and the wounded warrior project, often teaming up with Sam and Rhodey for fundraising and events. He additionally contributes to raising awareness for PTSD. But he also spends a lot of time going to schools and talking to at-risk kids, and setting up after school art programs in low-income neighborhoods, volunteering and giving drawing lessons in civilian clothes.
Natasha keeps her work on the down-low, but she contributes money and intelligence to groups that help rescue human trafficking victims, saving women and girls from slavery and prostitution around the globe. She’s not going to stand around while other little girls get their childhoods stolen like she had hers stolen, after all.
Hulk has appeared in a number of environmental campaigns (”Go Green!” has a whole new meaning when the Other Guy is bellowing it at you), but Bruce’s real passion project is setting up a network of halfway houses for women and children fleeing domestic violence situations.
Clint isn’t so good with the organized charity stuff, but he donates regularly to the ASPCA (because aww, dogs), and he’ll often just grab a bunch of homeless folks up from off the street and take them all out for pizza, or to a greasy spoon diner, because who doesn’t like diner food?
Thor appears on TV to get people to give to natural disaster relief efforts; he also personally helps in cases of raging forest or bushfires, summoning rain to combat the blazes. (A major national suicide hotline also receives an anonymous donation of very strange gold coins…)
Tony has a lot going on with the Stark Industries charitable funds, both for disaster relief in areas struck by super-villainy, and for helping refugees in war-torn regions. He also has a program set up in partnership with a number of schools to improve math and science education, to provide more kids with the opportunities he took for granted growing up. And as a birthday present to Pepper one year, he sets up the Virginia Potts Scholarship for Enterprising Young Women. Pepper, in turn, helps to establish the Maya Hanson Memorial Fund, covering full college tuition for a select few recipients to study in STEM fields.
And all of them appear together on The Daily Show to help Jon Stewart push for a bill providing health care to the first responders at the Battle of New York.
Autographed Jay Cutler football doesn’t get single bid at charity auction
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has not been the most popular person in the Windy City the past few seasons, so it isn’t surprising that a football signed by the Bears star didn’t generate any buzz at a pet-adoption charity auction.
The auction, which benefitted the Anti-Cruelty Society, took place on March 26, and according to the Chicago Tribune, there wasn’t a single bid on the football that Cutler signed.
“When it came back, I was surprised it didn’t go, but I didn’t think it was because of who signed the football,” Anti-Cruelty Society president Dr. Robyn Barbiers told the Tribune. She added that the attendees weren’t exactly “a football crowd.”
The white, autographed football was one of several items auctioned on the Society’s behalf at the Chosen Man’s Best Friend and Factor Felines fashion show and charity event. Most of the other items weren’t sports-related – theater tickets and spa treatments, for example.
But there’s a happy ending to the story. A person, who asked to remain anonymous, called the Anti-Cruelty Society on Thursday and offered the $100 starting bid. He planned to pick up the football for his son, who is a Bears fan.
There is no word on if the guy who offered the $100 bid was Cutler himself or if his sons are actually Bears fans.
During the month of December, Blizzard donated 100 percent of the proceeds from sales of Argi to the American Red Cross to support ongoing
Ebola relief efforts in Africa. The charity pet carries a $10 “adoption
fee” and is still available for purchase, though sales are no longer
earmarked for charitable purposes. Argi serves as both a cute sidekick
and an ally who can partake in pet battles.
