Was she worth it?

It was the second week of rehearsal for Dancing With The Stars: All Stars, and Sabrina Bryan was in the studio working hard with her partner, Louis Van Amstel. The pair was working hard at perfecting their first dance, the Cha-cha-cha. Sabrina was convinced to make this season amazing. The fans had voted her in the show, and she felt as though she needed to redeem herself from her first season. Louis understood her drive, and was going to do all he could to help her reach her goal. Today was the 9th day of rehearsal, and everyone in the cast was going to meet together for the first time. Because of the limited studios and varied studio time, the entire cast had yet to be together at once, and the producers on the show wanted their to be a bond between the contestants. “Okay, one more time through, and then we will go meet everyone in the larger studio.” Louis said and Sabrina just nodded, going back to their starting position. The ran through the dance, and Sabrina felt good about it. It was almost insane, that she remembered a couple of steps and how to finish her moves; but, that just made Louis’ job easier. “Okay, so you ready to meet with everyone?” Louis asked as they took a minute to rest, and get some water. “Um, yeah, sure. I guess so.” Sabrina said and looked around the room. “You don’t want to go?” He asked and she just shrugged. “I don’t know..” Sabrina told him, trying to avoid the inevitable. “Oh, I get it.” Louis said and Sabrina furrowed her eyebrows, feigning confusion. “You don’t want to go, because Mark will be there.” He said quietly and Sabrina stared at the wall. “Do I still have to go?” Sabrina said after they sat in silence for a while. “Yes, yes you do. Come on!” The pair stood up and made their way toward the larger studio, Studio A, to meet up with the cast. The duo walked into the studio and noticed the large crowd of people. Louis smiled at the sight of everyone smiling and getting to know each other. Sabrina decided to lighten up and enjoy the company. She rushed over to give her friend, Shawn Johnson, a hug. The two had met the week before and hit it off instantly. Their personalities clicked and they became close friends, they had a lot in common and were excited for this season. “Hey! How’s rehearsal coming?” Shawn asked her and she smiled. “It’s going good. I really like the dance, and I feel really confident with it.” Sabrina told her and they just giggled. “I love my dance too! It’s fun, and the song is really cute!” Shawn told her and they both nodded. “It’s cool to see Mel and Gilles.” The petite gymnast said and Sabrina nodded. “The three of you were in the finals your season, right?” She asked and Shawn nodded. “Yeah, apparently Gilles is out for revenge this season!” Shawn said and the blondes laughed. “So, how do you like working with Derek?” Sabrina asked Shawn. “It’s so much fun! I’m learning so much and he makes it so fun. I can’t wait to see what else he has in store!” Shawn said while glancing over at her partner who was looking at the tiny girl, smiling. “You two are cute.” Sabrina nudged Shawn and the younger girl just giggled. “Yeah… sure.” The two giggled and noticed it got a bit louder in the studio. As they turned around to see what the commotion was about, Sabrina saw the man that she had been praying wouldn’t be there. Shawn reached out and touched Sabrina’s arm. “You okay?” Shawn asked tentatively, knowing this must be hard for her. “No, not really.” Sabrina said and Shawn gave her a quick hug. The two separated and found their partners. Louis could tell Sabrina was having a tough time being in the studio. Everyone was sitting around in groups and just talking, and having a good time. They were reliving the memories from seasons past, and talking about the fun times they’ve had already. It had all become too much for Sabrina, watching Mark laugh and talk with everyone without even looking at her once, she needed to get out of there! As she glanced to the door, she decided she just needed to leave. She let out a sigh, and turned toward Louis. “I have to go.” She said and his eyes widened. “What? No! Don’t go Sab.”He said and she just shook her head, locked eyes with Mark, and continued out the room. Once she got to the other side of the room she walked toward the stairs that led to the roof. Once she got up to the roof, Sabrina sat on the edge, as she tried to control the tears that she felt were going to fall at any second. Inside the studio, all eyes were on Mark. Louis stood up, “Let me go talk to her.” He said, but Mark stood in front of him. “No, I got it. It’s my fault anyway.” He said and everyone watched him leave . Mark walked quickly put the door of the studio and out to the parking lot. He looked around for her but didn’t see her anywhere. Finally a light bulb went off in his head. He knew where she was! Mark ran up the steps to the roof, and saw her gorgeous body sitting on the edge of the roof. “Sab?” He called out and she slowly turned toward him. “I can’t do this mark. I can’t pretend that looking at you doesn’t kill me, I just can’t.” She told him and he hung his head. “This is all my fault, I’m so sorry.” He said. “For everything.” He said and tentatively took a seat next to her. “Why did you do it? Why did you cheat on me? We were doing so well, we weren’t perfect but I thought that you loved me.” Sabrina said allowing a few more tears to fall. “I did love you. I just wasn’t using my brain. I’m so sorry, I can’t believe I did that and I hurt you that badly. I never meant to hurt you, it hurts ME to know how badly that felt. I can’t believe I did it.” Mark told her as tears welled up in his eyes as well. “I spent so long thinking I did something wrong. Did you know that?” She asked and scoffed. “I felt like if I was skinnier or prettier or wasn’t in the cheetah girls, that you wouldn’t have cheated.” She admitted and tears fell down Mark’s face. “Sabrina.” He said and she looked at him. “You did absolutely NOTHING wrong. I was stupid and did something without a rational mindset. You are gorgeous and I love your job, there is no one I would rather be with.” Mark said as the tears continued to fall. “You mean been with?” Sabrina asked and he shook his head, holding her hands. “No Sabrina, I am still in love with you. Pulling a dick move messed up our relationship, but it didn’t change my feeling.” Mark told her and she smiled. The two sat in the roof and talked for a long time. They filled each other in on what was going on in their lives, and how their families are. Both were happy to hear that the other was single though they didnt say it directly. They began to realize they needed to go in soon, but neither wanted to. “So, I have one more thing to ask.” Sabrina said and Mark just nodded. “Was she worth it?” She asked looking and the ground. Mark reached out and pulled her chin up. “Not in a million years.” He said and they shared a smile. Neither one was ready to rush into a relationship, they wanted to reestablish their friendship first, but that spark that was there a couple years back, was still burning and they both knew it. Wrote this a long time ago as well and figured I’d post it… Ending sucked but oh we’ll… Hope y'all liked it(: xoxo

I know why you don’t trust nobody,
But you don’t need to feel that way tonight.
You know that I will always be somebody
To rely on, everytime.

So close your eyes, think of all the good things
That you have in your love and your life.
All the hurtin’, all the screamin’,
All the rhymes without the reasons,
Are gone now, leave them behind.

You can’t hide from me, knowing how you’re feelin’.
Cause I can tell by the look on your face.
All the waitin’, all the cry-outs,
Feeling like you’re gonna break down.
Girl, it’s over, so turn the page.

But you don’t need to be afraid
I’m never gonna let anyone hurt you, baby.
Take it all from me.
And I promise you this,
You’ll never be alone anywhere and crying,
By your side is where I’ll be,
Every step of the way.
With very little breath you take,
Every step of the way.
You know I’m gonna stay and always keep you safe,
Every step of the way.

But you don’t need to be afraid
I’m never gonna let anyone hurt you, baby.
Take it all from me.
And I promise you this,
You’ll never be alone anywhere and crying,
By your side is where I’ll be,
Every step of the way.
With very little breath you take,
Every step of the way.
You know I’m gonna stay and always keep you safe,
Every step of the way.

I SEE YOU MARK!
