Smallville 10x22: Chloe Sullivan-Queen reading to her son the story of how her old friend Clark Kent became Superman before the boy falls asleep looking at his toy arrows and dreaming of saving the day just like Green Arrow, his father, and Superman, the star of his comic.
you know, i got tangled in my own little world wide web, and i just lost track of what was important. clark, when you disappeared from my life, i retracted into watchtower. and as i became big brother, or i guess more like big sister. it’s easy to think that having all the information is the same as having all the answers. but i can’t be the eye in the sky anymore, clark. and now that i have ollie, i-i wanna plug into the real world. virtual reality bites.
At AwesomeCon this weekend, Allison told the story of meeting Tom Welling for the first time!
Allison:“The first time I met Tom? “Oh shit, he’s so good looking!” He is really something….I saw him and was just like “HuminaHuminaHumina!” Like he’s incredibly charismatic and he loves…he’s very interested in people so there’s something very magnetic about that quality.
“I saw him at the gym but it was really embarrassing. I was not fit and was like “I’m going to get in shape for this show!” and it was like a week before we started filming. But I marched down into the gym and there was Tom, working on his abs and I was like “Ahhhh!”
“So then I was like “I’m going to do something impressive too! So I jumped on the treadmill but..I don’t run. So I started running and I was like five minutes and was doing this (heavy breathing) and was like, “this isn’t working so I’m just going to go talk to him.” And I did and I was like “Hi!” (heavy breathing) “Nice to meet you.”
And I couldn’t catch my breath and he just stared down at me and at the end of my phrase - I don’t even know what I said - goes (gentle Tom voice) “Oh! You’re perfect for Chloe!”
“You know, in every epic tale, there’s always one person who believes in the hero first - someone who helps inspire them to greatness. And maybe it wasn’t just a fluke with you. I’ve been thinking that’s my true calling - finding heroes and helping them realize their true potential beyond the reach of Watchtower.”
Tom: Nice to see you. Allison: Nice to see you too. It’s been awhile. Tom: Yeah. You’re alive. Allison: I am. Tom: Chloe’s alive! Allison: Tom has a hard time separating reality from fiction. Tom: Yep. Be careful. I might super speed out of here.
