Okay, we didn’t get an actual kiss.

We got so much more than that. We got Levy being ready to give up her life if it meant Gajeel would be able to live and fight. We got Levy giving Gajeel her last breath. We got Gajeel losing his consciousness and in that last moment where his mind is reaching out and desperately struggling for his life, he sees Levy, he sees a light, his light. We got Gajeel reacting faster than lightning when he saw her in danger. We got him pressing her body against his as if she was the most precious thing in the world and in that moment she is. We got him shouting hands off with sudden new gained strength because he saw the girl who saved his life in peril. We got lips pressing against lips.

So yeah, we didn’t get a kiss, but somehow I have the feeling we very soon will.
