perhaps someday in the future

Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer.

waking up w trent reznor

trent reznor is my MF BOO THANG HERES TRENT FLUFF AS REQUESTED YES

waking up with trent the morning after he gets home from tour :’)

you were supposed to pick trent up from the airport at 11pm, but his flight got delayed 4 hours, so he told you he’d just get a ride from his manager. of course that sucked, you haven’t seen your boyfriend in months, but you knew it would be worth the wait. your plan was to stay up and wait for him so you guys could share a bottle of wine and catch up with each other but that quickly got shut down when you fell asleep on the couch with orange is the new black playing on the tv.

trent came home and saw you asleep, all he wanted to do was wake you up and shower you with kisses, but he knew he should let you sleep. he picked you up and carried you to the bedroom you two shared, careful not to wake you. it took him a while to get tired, so he watched how peaceful you looked while you were asleep and sang quietly to you.

hours later, you woke up, startled by the presence in your bed before realizing who it was. immediately you shot up taking in the excitement. you both were very much in love but also very new to the whole commitment thing. your fingers made their way to his hair, and your lips made their way to his, making him shift in his sleep before waking up. “baby, mm i missed you so much.” trent said to you, still in his sleepy state. “i missed you more, this place gets pretty lonely without you here.” you said back to him smiling, so happy that he’s here and next to you. ‘you know, about 30 people are on our crew, yet its still so lonely without you” that made you blush. after dating trent for months, you still get flustered whenever he says sweet things to you. you cuddled into him while he placed kisses all along your neck and ear. trent told you all about tour, the fans he met, and the different food he was able to try. he kept mentioning the next tour and how he wanted you to join him. you’re not going to lie, it is something you’ve thought about, but you didn’t want to be a bother to anybody. you told him about your time at home with your friends and how your parents got a new dog you want him to meet. you loved animals and wanted so badly to adopt a dog with trent, but your landlord doesn’t allow pets. perhaps someday in the future when you own your own home with the man you love. the rest of the morning was filled with butterfly kisses, music, and a shower with trent. you loved mornings like this with trent, it was nothing sexual, just enjoying each others company. you knew sex would come later.

“hey, trent, i still have that bottle of wine from last night”

“oh you’re amazing.”

you cooked breakfast together and ate it while enjoying the wine. it didn’t necessarily go with your meal, but you liked it anyways.

“so uh y/n, have you thought more about joining me on the north america tour?” trent asked, with hope in his eyes.

“i’d love to, trent” you said, both of you unable to hide the happiness in your eyes. “I’m not sure if its the wine talking but I’m gonna have to take you back to the bedroom, right now…”

we need more trent imagines am i right

this is 4 u @reb-vodkaimagines now its your turn ;0 !!

Thank you! Right now, I don’t plan on writing anything, but perhaps someday in the future I’ll be able to focus on it.

“Te pido que tengas paciencia con todo aquello sin resolver en tu corazón y que intentes amar las preguntas como si fueran habitaciones cerradas o libros en una lengua totalmente desconocida. No busques las respuestas que no se te pueden dar ahora, porque aún no estas preparado para vivirlas. Y el objetivo está en vivirlo todo. Vive las preguntas ahora. Quizás entonces, algún día en el futuro, conseguirás gradualmente y sin darte cuenta vivir tu camino hacia la respuesta”.

Million times that joy and more. May your green beans flurrish! And your hands never cramp!

That 'cast iron skillet instead of a cauldron' reblog got me thinking. Witches of old used brooms and cauldrons not because they were esoteric (which they weren't back then) but because they were commonplace at the time. As the years passed, their original uses became antiquated but their use in witchcraft remained in the public consciousness. If you witches all use modern appliances, perhaps someday skillets and dustpans will conjure images of witchcraft.

I would love a future with practitioners solemnly grinding herbs and roots in a coffee grinder and talking about how this is the ancient technique. Acting overly-mystical sitting in their ritual clothes of jeans and a t-shirt with an ouija board on it and converse shoes, using a Scentsy instead of incense, and listening to Florence + the Machine for ambiance. Because hey that’s pretty much my week right there, and I love it.

But seriously, it’s true. Things will evolve and new symbols will be attached to ideas as years pass. And that’s what I enjoy about things like this - it evolves. And I think it’s ridiculous when people are like “oh no, you can’t use an electronic tealight, it has to be real” or “what do you mean you’re using store-bought herbs and mixing them with a metal hello kitty spoon?!” Because, hey, traditions can be good if they make you feel good. If tradition starts to become a annoying hindrance, then it’s time to get creative with it. And if that means casting spells to Lady GaGa lyrics, go for it.

I am excited to see what becomes “esoteric” to future generations.
