perfect people series

You know what I wanna see in the series?

Tadashi growing up to have his parents taken from him and having to take care of his young brother who’s too young to understand.

We all know Tadashi was the perfect role model for Hiro. Hell, he’s described as the perfect guy. Good-looking, smart, kind-hearted, funny… the best big brother in Hiro’s eyes. The perfect human-being.

But nobody’s perfect at 100%. Nobody has 0 flaws. Daniel Henney said that Tadashi had his bad days in his younger years.

Give me those “bad days”.

Show me Tadashi’s “darker” side.

Show me young Tadashi grieving the death of his parents. Show me Tadashi having break downs and telling Aunt Cass “I can’t do this” when it comes to take care of Hiro in darker days. Show me Tadashi crying and whishing his parents were here to take care of him and his little brother.

Show me Tadashi showing jealousy towards Hiro’s gift as a genius; despite the fact he supports him fully, he still envies that natural gift. Show me Tadashi expressing that jealousy to Hiro, not realizing until the last minute his selfishness hurt his little brother. Show me Tadashi regretting it and putting more pressure on himself, promising himself he’ll supress that jealousy as best as he can for Hiro.

Show me Tadashi’s teenage years. Show me Tadashi with acne and facial hair, showing that yes, even if he grew up to be attractive, he went through those completely normal phases. Show me Tadashi being rebellious. Show me Tadashi being short-tempered, either with his aunt or his little brother. Show me Tadashi having disagreements with Aunt Cass and telling her a classic, but understandable “NO ONE UNDERSTANDS ME!” Show me that Tadashi wasn’t always the perfect role model growing up, and put a lot of pressure on himself for Hiro.

Show me Tadashi’s protectiveness. Show me Tadashi hitting himself mentally and guilt-tripping himself when Hiro cries to him about being bullied, and wishing he was there at the moment it happened to do something. Show me Tadashi wishing that everyone could accept his little bro for who he is, but his heart breaks every time Hiro tells him about being bullied. Show me Tadashi seeing red when he witnesses anyone trying to lay a hand on his baby brother. Show me Tadashi shoving one of Hiro’s bullies against the wall and having a fist fight, and being labeled as a “troublemaker” because of his tendency to pick fights with other kids bullying Hiro. Show me Tadashi apologizing to Hiro when the little boy witnesses him in a state of pure anger and violence aimed at the bullies that almost traumatized his little brother. Show me Tadashi being border-line overprotective, with Aunt Cass and later Hiro calling him out on it.

And most importantly, show me that despite the fact Tadashi took a lot of maturity at a young age after his parents’ death, he was still just a kid with a part of his childhood that got taken from him.

Show me that Tadashi wasn’t always the goody two-shoes he became to be until his death, because he was still human.

You’re a Wizard, Neil

Part One: Part Two: Neil and the foxes become true wizards at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Part three:

  • It’s only a 6 hour drive to Orlando so they take the fox bus
    • Neil didn’t want to take Andrew more out of his comfort zone by flying on top of being surrounded by hundreds of people at a stuffy themepark
  • Wymack and Abby come with them and it’s officially deemed as a team bonding event (Wymack knows it’s not but he indulges them anyway)
  • They want Neil to get the whole Universal experience so Allison and Matt pitch in and book them rooms at the Cabana Bay Beach Resort so they’re right inside the park the entire time
  • And they get the 4 day park-to-park fastpass tickets so they can take their time on the rides and in both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure
  • Neil is excited and overwhelmed

The Secret Girlfriend Theory

Before anyone chortles at the title of this, please bear with me.  It’s something that, I think in the ending of the Sherlock series, actually makes sense if I had to dissect his relationships with women (romantically speaking).

Since so many people have enjoyed the “I Love You: A Man’s Perspective” post,  I also had a great talk with my hub about this new theory of mine, and again, his interpretation from a man’s perspective is really interesting.  We also had a very personal talk, which opened my eyes to something I didn’t know about him before.  I’ve asked if I can include it here and he’s totally cool with. He’s also completely amazed that people like our banter, but mostly he likes that it’s opened up new avenues of discussion in the fanbase.  I’ll denote in the post between our views for clarity.

A small disclaimer: this is merely my (and some of my dude’s) own personal view, coming from our own worldviews and experiences. In no way am I writing any meta, thoughts, or opinions that are meant to invalidate anyone else’s reading of the show or characters.  Everyone can have their view and their story, and it’s ok.  These are just ours.  Art and media is open to everyone’s interpretations.

This is another long one folks, so take a potty break now!

Follow You pt. 10

Summary: Bucky Barnes thought that ‘going under’ would be best for him. He thought that entering himself into a comatose would diffuse the war that waged within his mind every time he closed his eyes. When it doesn’t work, he’s back at square one, and Tony Stark enlists the help of New York’s brightest and most ambitious psychologist in order to help the newest member of the team.

Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader

Word Count: 3,924

A/N: This is sort of the halfway point! There might be 9, maybe 10 more chapters left if you’re lucky! I really hope you like this chapter! Warning: things happen, I’m not going to tell you what because that would totally ruin it! This is the worst warning ever.

“You’re just going to have to give him time,” Steve’s voice rang through her ears as she stared at her ceiling. The sun hadn’t even begun to peek over the horizon, and Y/N was up in the early hours of the morning because she just couldn’t stop thinking about him. With her sheets tangled at her feet, and her neighbor’s Christmas lights reflecting red and green shadows on her walls, she wondered how long it would be until she was out of the metaphorical doghouse.

There was no way she’d be able to go back to sleep. Not with her alarm clock staring back at her; it’s bright, red lines spelling out the time.

“It’s a good day for breakfast,” she mumbled to herself as she sat up in the middle of her bed. Her hand absentmindedly ran through her bed head, getting caught in the knots and tangles. “And coffee.” She added.

“Let’s keep the pressure up, keep the chorus of disapproval going, because right now we have a rare and genuine opportunity to tell the people who influence our lives, elected or not, what sort of media ethics we’re prepared to tolerate, right now we can make a difference, right now - if we don’t lose our focus- the choir get to preach back.” (x)

I don’t really like it when people say John and Sherlock’s relationship is more unhealthy than John and Mary’s. Um, excuse me, but what? Sherlock realizes that Mary is important to John, so he’s nice to her. Mary realizes that Sherlock is important to John, and she shoots him without bothering to even apologize. Tell me which one sounds healthier?

Weeaboo Paulina and Dash Headcanon

So I just heard that there’s a headcanon that Paulina’s secretly a weeaboo who loves all of the girly, shoujo manga and anime and that got me thinking~

It’s canon that Dash is into boy bands and cheesy, romantic soap operas, so what if one day Dash finds out that Paulina is a huge weeaboo and at first is totally going to make fun of her for it, but instead starts watching/reading all of the manga and anime with her and gets totally hooked on them~

Seriously, imagine Dash getting into all of the Shoujo Beat titles and discussing them with Paulina

Imagine it
