Adventure Craft is a fun procedurally generated action RPG in which you scavenge, fight, craft and build in an attempt to survive in a dangerous wilderness.

It’s inspired The Legend of Zelda, Minecraft and Starbound, but has far more in common with Don’t Starve - with you attempting to scavenge and gather resources during the daytime, then fending off dangerous beasts during the night.  As you progress you’ll craft weapons and tools, build and customise your house, meet NPC allies, tame pets and hunt rare monsters - all in single player or multiplayer co-op modes.

Even in these early stages of development is an impressive game, an epic endless sandbox RPG with fun gameplay and a great pixel art visual style.  Sweet sandbox survival.

Beware!  Fortune Catcher matches can result in physical violence and broken keyboards (but that’s the whole point).  Fortune Catcher is a hilarious local multiplayer game that sees both players attempting to grab a ball.  The catch?  The controls are randomized every time!

Collect the crystal ball and you’ll be crowned the winner and be told your fortune – if this fortune was entirely accurate it would read ‘you will buy a new keyboard in the near future!’

The Tell-Tale Heart is a creepy adaptation of the poem of the same name by Edgar Allen Poe, in which you must get away with the murder you’ve committed, with detectives investigating your house, unaware of what lies beneath their feet…

The Tell-Tale Heart is a prototype for a much larger project by One Blue Eye Studios, called House of Usher.  It’s a whodunit mystery, but instead of playing the detective, you’re the murderer who must remain calm, hide evidence and answer the detectives questions convincingly, all while the voice in your head (the old man you’ve just killed), goads you into making a slip-up.

It’s a creepy and rather unsettling experience with a striking visual style and a voiceover that really gets under your skin.  In The Tell Tale Heart you can get away with murder.  The only question is can you live with it?

Bernband is a charming low rez exploration game that allows you to wander around a vast, thriving alien city.

As you roam the alien city, it’s remarkable how much work has gone into creating distinct areas, all populated by a thriving community of aliens.  As you discover nightclubs, schools, theatres, train stations and churches, it really does feel like an alien civilisation could live in this place.  It’s an impressive game – Bernband may be viewed in low resolution, but the level of detail is remarkably high!
