🍌🍯 *shows up to the party late*👀 so for some reason up until now I have been using PB2 powder as a flavor for smoothies and Pad Thai but didn’t even think to use it as butter! I’m sure everyone else has already been doing this! lol I mixed 2 tablespoons of PB2 with one tablespoon of almond milk and a teaspoon of maple syrup! Perfect spread, so I had a peanut butter feast … Guess who is putting this on everything from now on… this bitch 👉🏽🙋🏽👈🏽
Peanut Butter Truffles for just 28 calories with 2g protein? Yes please! They’re perfect for a pre-workout power up, especially early in the morning, but really I just grab one whenever I need a little sweetness.
i bought a small waffle maker so i feel like im eating way more waffles 🍴 it’s all mental i swear haha
my protein waffle/pancake recipe:
- 1/3 cup plain oats (ground up into a flour)
- 1 scoop of your favorite protein (this time i used @teammusclesport chocolate peanut butter!)
- 3 egg whites
- 5 tbsp unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- squeeze of liquid stevia
approx (changes depending on whey you use) macros: 39P/3F/20C
then i make a syrup mix with 1 serving of PB2 mixed and warmed up with Walden Farms Pancake Syrup for some extra goodness

After lunch today David and I went out for cupcakes. Okay actually we went out for chocolate but faced with the choice between $2.75 for a one bite truffle and $3 for an amazing gourmet cupcake, well the choice was obvious. The cupcake I had (snickerdoodle, pic on my instagram) was by far the best gluten free baked good I had ever had and the baker told me she used garbanzo flour. Later tonight, still thinking about that deliciousness, the idea hit me to try using chickpeas in a cupcake. If black beans make great healthy brownies, maybe chickpeas could make a good cupcake, right? RIGHT! These cupcakes came out, especially for gluten free cupcakes, with the perfect moist texture and with so much PB2 they were filled with peanut buttery flavor. After the first test run I decided to add in the chocolate bits because, well chocolate makes everything better, and I like my peanut butter with a friend haha!
You can enjoy these plain or add a host of toppings. David added chocolate butter cream but said they were good both ways. Chocolate ganache, chocolate drizzle, even a banana based topping would all be great here, or go simple with a swirl of reddi wip. At just 32 calories per cupcake you can really play around with toppings both making and enjoying a couple options! :)
my greatest creation of the day- dessert. arctic zero flavor cookie shake. topped w chia & flax infused pb2 & crushed dark chocolate. (this whole bowl is under 150 calories! only half a pint pictured 😲!)
PB2 is a great alternative to eating peanut butter. Like lots of people, I can never stop at a 2 tbs serving of peanut butter. I discovered PB2 a couple of weeks ago and I am obsessed. You can mix it with water to get a normal peanut butter consistency, but PB2 goes far beyond that. Mix it into a smoothie, in your oatmeal, yogurt, pudding, etc. It tastes great and is 85% less fat that normal peanut butter! You can order PB2 online or find it at your local Whole Foods. PB2 also comes in a chocolate blend.
These are not exactly 80/10/10 but they are lower fat than the average raw dessert. I’m sure some of you have a special someone who may enjoy these aswell as a little treat :) valentines day anyone?
pulse mulberries, raw jungle peanuts, and dates in the food processor until combined and push into tart pan
Filling (this makes two tarts, double up for bigger batches etc):
1/8 cup cashews
half a peeled zucchini
tablespoon of cacao powder (I eyeballed it, I’m guessing)
Stevia drop vanilla flavoured or two tablespoons of maple syrup + vanilla
2 tablespoons of PB2 powder or 1 tablespoon of natural homemade peanutbutter
half tablespoon of coconut oil
water to blend
stick them in the freezer overnight and enjoy :)
the next day we put one in the fridge for CB to bring to work and it formed into a wonderfully fluffy mousse texture- he liked it better than the frozen version! The zucchini is what keeps the pie fluffy so dont leave it out!
