paul is my husband

The best parts of the Paul McCartney concert last night

- My dad getting mad on the way there and saying “just start running people over”

- “GOOD EVENING, MINNEAPOLIIIIISSSS!!”

- Paul getting annoyed by someone screaming at him while he was talking and shrieking in response

- Nancy sitting up front and waving around a glow stick the whole time

- Paul shaking his butt during the guitar solo of And I Love Her

- Paul mocking the people who shout a lot by screaming back at them while telling a sentimental story about George

- The guy behind us screaming “YEEZUS” during Four-Five seconds when they showed a picture of Paul with Kanye West

- The same guy getting emotional over Blackbird and going “DUUUUDDDDE”

- Also the same guy screaming “I LOVE YOU PAUL” at the top of his lungs

- Paul taking his jacket off and saying “Now this is the only wardrobe change of the night” and mom getting embarrassed when I yelled “take it off, Paul”

- Paul’s Prince tribute

- The little boy next to us who knew every word of every song

- Singing the “na na na” part of Hey Jude with Paul (the best feeling ever)

- Paul reading signs, one of which said “Sign me, my husband likes to read in bed”

- The fire, explosions, and lasers in Live and Let Die

- Said fire and explosions prompting Paul to complain about his hearing afterwards

- Just Paul being a complete doofus

- Paul’s stories about playing at Red Square, where a Russian man said “Paul, we learned how to speak English from Beatles songs” and followed up with saying “hello, goodbye”

- Paul playing “Something” on the ukulele while a slideshow of George played behind him

- Paul asking if anybody ever tried to learn Blackbird, then laughing and saying “You all got it WRONG!”

- The encore, where he did the coolest ending ever with Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight and I cried
