There is something grounding about preparing your own meals from scratch. Simmering onions and chopping potatoes is therapy, a deep and vital connection to the source of our life force.

No food is more sustainable than meat that comes from ruminants raised and finished on pasture. What’s unsustainable is relying on the semi-arid regions of California, Arizona and Mexico for most of our fruits and vegetables or using the Haber-Bosch method and pesticides to continue growing grains in former grasslands…. grasslands that are better suited for raising ruminants on pasture.
