There’d been an argument, and Tord had pulled some strange gun out of his pocket. Edd remembered screaming for Tom, begging him to stop Tord, but he’d been sent out to get groceries. Even Matt, who usually detested getting off the couch, was with him, most likely having the time of his little ginger life.
Title: Reflection Fandom: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Characters: Scorpius Malfoy/Albus Severus Potter, the Scorpion King Rating: PG-13 Summary: On a bright, cool morning, after Charms but before Potions, Scorpius met the Scorpion King for the first time. On a bright, cool morning, after Charms but before Potions, Scorpius met the Scorpion King for the first time. He was late, having been distracted by his attempts to perfect the Frost Charm they’d just been taught. A sprinkle of tiny, sparkling snowflakes floated from the tip of his wand. He caught one on his fingertip–a prickle of ice–and watched it melt, so transfixed that Brodie McLaggen took him completely by surprise. McLaggen grabbed Scorpius by the throat and trapped him against the wall. Scorpius’s wand clattered to the floor.
‘Your dad’s scum, Malfoy. Once a Death Eater always a Death Eater.’
AkaKuro with time travel coffee shop, Good luck, you will prolly need it XD (im laughing sorry not sorry)
Akashi started tapping his pen against his book again. It wasn’t always that he found a question difficult. But he just couldn’t concentrate. His exam was tomorrow.
And it was her anniversary. Akashi hated how weak he was when this day rolled in every year. He gets lost in everything. Worse part was that…he couldn’t even remember what having her around was like. And it hurt.
Akashi laughed softly to himself, staring at the question he was stuck at.
“One more round?” suggested the teenage waiter with coffee in his hand.
“It’s alright, Kuroko.”
Kuroko’s face looked worried, “Akashi you’ve been staring at the same page for 2 hours now. You should go back.”
Akashi shook his head, “It won’t help.”
“I’m afraid nothing. I quite appreciate your presence and thoughtfulness, Kuroko.”
Kuroko’s eyes softened, “Do you miss her?”
Akashi stared at his book, “Frankly, I don’t know. I-… can’t remember.”
Kuroko put the coffee on the table and raked his fingers through Akashi’s hair. Akashi was receptive towards all comforting touch as long as it was sincere. He closed his eyes as his hair was pushed back. It was pleasant.
“You should rest. I’ll wake you up in an hour.”
Kuroko continued working while Akashi took his advice and rested his head over crossed arms on the coffee table filled with books and stationary. He could smell the muffins over the counter and the aromatic coffee brewing in the back. The sound of chatting diners and several orders being announced became sort of harmonic with everything else too.
The comforting sound of a typical coffee shop…
When Akashi awoke, the sound remained the same. But when he lifted his head, his eyes widened. He wasn’t…in the coffee shop anymore.
Well, it still was a coffee shop but– Why was everyone dressed so–
Akashi took a breather and properly looked around. Was he dreaming? Akashi stood up and realized his books were gone. The table…was still the same for some reason. He was definitely dreaming.
Akashi slowly backed up and accidentally collided with lady in a pink dress and white gloves.
“Pardon me, young man.”
Who even says the word pardon?
Akashi bowed, mirroring the lady herself who forgave him and walked away.
“What is happening…?”
All men were wearing formal clothings? Top hats? And women wore long frilly dresses. Where was he?
Akashi gulped and left the shop. That was the final straw. Everyone- Everything was different. Akashi looked to his left and then to his right. People used parasols and canes while walking. The setting was different. The city was….
Akashi slowly turned around. He first saw the dress; light red and golden lining. She carried no umbrella or parasol. She simply matched her dress with a simple summer hat.
But her face…and her smile…
She chuckled, “What are you doing here? I thought your father brought you along.”
Akashi was still frozen as he took in all of her features, “..Mother..?”
Her smile widened, “Of course, you silly child.”
Akashi took a step forward. Then another. And another.
Shiori welcomed him with open arms. Akashi took awhile but once he knew it was real, he hugged her dearly. He buried his face in her shoulder and laughed breathlessly. She was so warm.
Shiori patted Akashi’s back and snuggled into his head, “What’s gotten into you, Seijuro?”
He held her tighter and whispered hoarsely, “I miss you…so much…”
She comforted him by caressing his nape, “You’re being very odd today, my son.”
Akashi laughed again, tears in his eyes. He felt so light. So free. And complete.
From inside the coffee shop, a blue-haired waiter smiled at the mother-son reunion.
Can you write something where Lily is on the brink of really liking James and he's using a whole bunch of pickup lines on her that he heard from Sirius an even though she wants to be annoyed she finds them and him adorable?
Pickup lines are fun. Thank you anon. :)
“Pardon me, is there a mirror in your pocket? Because I keep seeing myself in your skirt.” Lily’s head shot up and she wasn’t surprised to find James Potter standing in front of her with his hands on his hips and a playful smile on his face. They were in the back corner of the library, the DADA section. Lily was attempting to finish an essay. James didn’t seem to care.
“Excuse me?” Lily asked, trying her best to look upset with him. She was finding that that was as task that was becoming harder and harder to accomplish these days however, and she ended up pursing her lips together to hide a smile. It probably had something to do with their new found friendship, her reluctant admission that he was actually a very funny bloke and her even more reluctant admission that she might fancy him a bit. She was thinking that it was the first two though.
“That’s a really nice smile you’ve got there,” James took a step towards her, cocking an eyebrow and leaning forward. “It’s a shame that’s not all you’re wearing.”
“What are you doing, James?” Lily laughed. She didn’t want to of course, but how could she not when he was currently being so ridiculous? And besides, it was either laugh or blush, and one of those were much less incriminating than the other.
“Sirius and I were going over some pickup lines last night.” James shrugged. “Thought I’d try a few of them out for myself.”
“Is that what the two of you do in your spare time? Sit around and seduce one another with vulgar pickup lines?”
“Yes. And those weren’t even that bad. You should have heard some of the ones Sirius was saying.” James pretended to shudder and Lily rolled her eyes. “Hey, why don’t your surprise your roommates tonight and not come home?”
“Oh, we’re still doing this then?” Lily asked. “That’s nice. I’m going to look for my book now.”
“Do you know, your hair and my pillowcase are perfectly color coordinated?”
“I don’t believe that’s true. Gryffindor red and my red are slightly off matched and look horrible together.”
“You’re insinuating that you know what color my pillow is. People will talk.” James looked around the empty isle and raised his eyebrows.
“I’m assuming that it’s the same color as everyone elses in Gryffindor. Because I’m assuming that it’s the pillow that was given to you when you-”
“I’ve got another one that works for muggles and wizards.” James interrupted her completely correct list of assumptions. “Love, are you a broom? Because you just swept me off my feet.”
“That’s a horrible line.” Lily sighed, shaking her head. “No one ever falls for these.”
“Sirius said that they work for him all the time.”
“I think Sirius is taking the micky out of you. Or trying to get you to make a fool of yourself. Which he succeeded in, if that was his plan.”
“There’s a good chance of that.” James nodded. “I’ve got more though.”
“I think I’ve heard enough.” Lily said, pulling a book off the shelf to read through the index.
“One more.” James said, holding up one finger and giving her that look of his. She bit her lip and tried to stay strong. But then she had to admit to herself that perhaps she fancied him a bit more than a bit.
“Alright, one more. But make it a good one.”
James smiled and then cleared his throat. “If it’s true that you are what you eat… then I could be you in the morning.” Lily closed her eyes and tried to compose herself. Unfortunately that didn’t last long and she ended up laughing much to loud for someone in the library. James chuckled appreciatively, and then hushed her so that they wouldn’t get kicked out, which he correctly assumed would only make Lily upset with him.
“That’s horrible.” Lily laughed, whipping the tears from her eyes. “Completely horrible.”
“I know.” James grinned.
“Hey, do you sleep on your front?” Lily asked suddenly, looking back at the shelf of books now. James crinkled his brow and shook his head and her seemingly random question.
“No. I normally sleep on my back, what does this have to do-”
“Do you mind if I do?” She looked back at him and winked before walking away.
“I see what you did there.” James called after her. “I see what you did and I liked it.” Lily smirked as she sat down at her table and began to write her essay.
This may be a weird question but what did you wear when you got your tattoos on the back of the thighs? I want to get some on the same area but not sure what clothing to wear during the healing process.
I just wore a short skirt (just pop some little shorts on underneath for modesty if you wish), took off my tights when I got there, and then I could put them back on anyway because my tattoos were covered in cling film (I forget what its called in other countries). A really long loose skirt could also work! This is the skirt I wore when I went actually haha, pardon the mirror:
