papa gumiho

One of the most touching scenes I’ve witnessed in my k-drama experience. Seriously, the love I’ve gained for this character is amazing. Even if I hated Seo Hwa quite a bit after episode 2, she managed to redeem herself though sadly she had to take her life in the end to save Wol Ryung. Nevertheless, I’m glad that Wol Ryung got to at least be with her even if it was in death. This scene was so poignant and Choi Jin Hyuk is wonderful as always.

I wish there were some way Wol Ryung and Seo Hwa could have had more time with each other and with Kang Chi but sadly, this was not the case. Ah, this scene :’( it broke my heart. Mainly because it signals the end of Choi Jin Hyuk’s time as Wol Ryung. I will miss him so much. My 500+ screenshots of him will have to suffice until his role in HEIRS.

Not to mention, he’s done an acoustic version of The One’s Best Wishes To You (which is my favourite song from the OST in addition to Yisabel’s My Eden) and needless to say, it’s BEAUTIFUL. Since this is most likely the last time we’ll get to see Wol Ryung, I’m basically going to abuse the hell out of the replay button for his version because of my love for his deep and dulcet tones.

If you haven’t listened to it yet, you really must. Please. You won’t regret it. It’s amazing:

Long live Gu Wol Ryung, the sexiest gumiho I’ve ever seen!

Welcome back, papa gumiho

I love how Wol Ryung’s  become so evil and is a demon that sucks energy out of people…  But people only love him more.

To be honest, I was really scared because it sounded like a horror movie and I’m scared of those…  I thought he would be really scary when I saw his eyes and how he killed those men…

But then I saw this:

And I fell in love with him all over again OMG THAT SMIRK IT’S SO…

Ahem.  Anyways.  I’m glad that even if he’s a demon, he still knows who he is.  (I think…)
