Pagadian’s wacky tricycle
They say that this is the only place in the country that one can enjoy public transportation which is inclined on a 25-40 degree angle. The city’s most popular tourist eye-catcher is it unique tricycle.

Pagadian’s wacky tricycle.
kwentong Pagadian. :) part 3

WARNING: this will probably be a loooong post with probably a looooot of pictures. read at your own risk. HAHA. :) <another copy paste. HAHA.>

so this will be my last post about our trip to Pagadian. ang haba nga talaga ng kwento ko noh? if nabore kayo sa kababasa, sorry. i just feel the need to post this para naman mapreserve ang memories. anyway, i don’t think that i have to explain myself. :)

moving on. since last post ko na nga to, i’ll be talking about our last day there. ito na rin yata ang pinakamahaba. please bear with me, friends.

we had the awarding for the AOG or the Ambassador/Ambassadress of Goodwill pageant the night before day 3 and it ended really late. masaya naman ang program, pero the problem is that, para makasama kame sa Lakeview Resort the next day for the closing program, kailangan naming gumising ng maaga. so parang hindi na nga kame natulog eh, umidlip nalang ng konti. tapos tapos tapos, alam niyo ba na nung umaga, nawalan ng tubig ang hotel?! as in wala talaga!!! bigla nalang tumigil ang tubig. sabay-sabay raw kasi ang paggamit so nakulangan ata? i’m not sure. ang alam ko lang, maraming participants ang hindi nakaligo before pumunta ng resort. hi, friends. you know who you are. HAHA. pero kame nina sharm nakaligo pa kasi maaga kameng nagising so nauna kame. alam naman natin diba, the early bird catches the worm. Kthanksbye. :)

so ayun, we had our breakfast sa bus then pumunta na kame ng resort. it took us about an hour to arrive! but the place, oh the place, HEAVEN. :) ang ganda! sobrang peaceful. ang ganda ng lake. sobrang still ng tubig. tapos andaming pools! gusto ko sanang maligo kaso tinamad kameng magdala ng extra shirt. peo in the end, nabasa parin naman pala ako kasi nagkayak kame nina hazel. amaziiing experience. here are some photos taken sa Lakeview Resort. <sayang nga lang wala kameng picture nung nagkayak kame, baka kasi mabasa ang cam>

at may kabobohan kameng ginawa nina scepter at joice: sinunukan naming mag jump shot sa may tubig. so ayun, FAIL. -___- HAHAHA

and since closing ceremonies na yun, siempre may awarding! guess what?! hindi lang academic champion ang ADZU chapter, OVERALL champion pa! asteeeeg! kaya ayun, bumalik kame ng hotel na masaya. pagdating palang ng hotel umalis kame agad para magGaisano. dun na rin kame naglunch at bumili ng mga pasalubong. after dun, balik na kame ng hotel kasi andun na ang bus na mgahahtid saamin pauwi. this time, sa may harap na kame umupo kasi bababa kame ni sharm on the way. :)

*biahe* *biahe* *biahe*

on the way home, nagstop over muna kame sa jollibee IPIL para bumili ng dinner kasi nga mahaba ang biahe. so nung umandar na kame ulit, etong si “kuyang matalino” dun sa tabi ni sharm umupo kasi nga puno yung bus. nilagyan nalang ng parang extension between the seats. ganito yung seating arrangement:

Mama Jing, Tel2, Hazel, “SIYA”, sharm, AKO.

raaawr. so parang harang si sharm nuh? hahaha. de joke. pero mas badtrip nga kasi alam niyo bang dun sana talaga ako nakaupo kung saan si sharm? nakipagpalitan ako kasi baka mahirapang bumaba siyang bumaba since una siya sakin. so parang grabe ang pagsisisi ko. HAHA. de, joke lang. ok na rin yun, kasi alam niyo ba, funny talaga siya magstart ng conversation. bien random topics. as in! unexpected topics. out of this world. de, joke. bien cute. bien funny. hahaha.

moving on, so yun na nga, tuloy ang biahe. isa isa na silang bumababa. and then, tenen! time na ni sharm bumaba, which means? haha. tamaaaa! HAHA. basta. gets niyo namn ako diba? anyway, eto yung pic oh. :“) sa mga nakakakilala sa kung sino man to siya, please lang, hush. ayoko ng issue kasi wala talaga. okay? good. :)

BOK, pati ba naman dito, nakisali ka? moment ko na to eh. eto nalang nga ang one and only moment ko with him. hahahaha. :))

so ayun. nakarating na ko bahay. ang pagdating ko ng bahy ang nagparealize sakin na tapos na talaga yung trip, the next day klase nanaman. pero okay lang. that trip was definitely UNFORGETTABLE. yes, you can say it again. UNFORGETTABLE. haha! di ko talaga to malilimutan. aside from the event itself, iba talaga ang epekto ng mga taong nakasama ko. thank you so much, friends! ‘til next time? :)

*END***

finally, natapos na rin. :)

mamaya na alis namin. :)

HAHA)

sana masaya! sana masaya! sana masaya! sana masaya! sana masaya! sana masaya! sana masaya! sana masaya! sana masaya! sana masaya! sana masaya!

SANA MASAYA!

wala lang. tuloy na talaga to! wee excited na ako. kayo rin ba Kuki, Hazel, Alexis, Tel ,Mila and Scepter

Pagadian: Little Hong Kong of the South

This is part two of our pre-anniversary celebration…

So goodbye Kapatagan and hello to the hilly terrain of Pagadian City!

The one place where you wanna make sure that your car brakes are working perfectly fine or else you’ll suddenly find yourself rolling straight down to the open sea.

When commuting, you can get around the city by riding a three-wheeled motor vehicle that kind of serves like a taxi cab which is locally known as a “rela” (a diminutive of the word “motorela”).

The “rela” in Pagadian has two rows of seats that are inclined at an approximate 25 to 40 degree angle. This design is unique to this city only. I swear I haven’t seen anything like it anywhere.

Getting in it is an exercise I tell you. It’s like doing some pull-ups and curl-ups at the same time really. But it ain’t so bad… Considering after countless of rides later, you might step out of it attaining rock hard abs effortlessly.

Pagadian is not only known for its iconic “rela” but it is also known for its bountiful seafood. So for lunch, my boyfriend and I went straight to Springland Resort to sample only the freshest seafood for lunch.

Welcome to their reception area. Obscured is the dining area where we enjoyed eating our hearts out.

I apologize that there are no food photos for this post. But please try their Fried Lapu-lapu in Chili Sauce in case you would drop by here because it is deeeeelicious! So delicious that my boyfriend fought me over the very last morsel of it.

The view below the dining area. Beautiful isn’t it?

When we decided to take a walk down below, we found this…

Yes, seafood is really my TRU-LAB. Sorry boyfriend.

Springland Resort cultures fish, crab and prawn and this is why they have the freshest seafood.

I must say that Springland Resort is a haven for local tourists especially because of its beautiful ambiance, affordable rates, accommodating staff and delectable food. You really could not ask for more.

After spending much of our time relaxing at Springland Resort… Actually, more like waiting for all of the food in our stomach to be fully digested, we went to Rotonda, a park that overlooks the city, for our last hoorah which was horseback riding!

Okay, actually, I was the only one who went horseback riding because my sorry self wasn’t able to ride on a horse’s back ever.

Look at me grinning from ear to ear! For only 20 pesos, you get to ride on a horse’s back for three laps. Not bad huh?

I truly really felt sorry for the little horsie… I didn’t know he was hungry the whole time while I was on his back. Respect!

And this concludes our pre-anniversary celebration that didn’t cost us more than 3000 pesos. I know there’s still more of Pagadian that we missed. We will be back (hopefully some time soon) and that’s a promise.

kwentong Pagadian. :) part 1

WARNING: this will probably be a loooong post with probably a looooot of pictures. read at your own risk. HAHA. :)

so, now that i’m back, first thing to do: post about our first-ever JPIA convention.

last September 30, at around 12 midnight, we left Zamboanga City and headed towards Pagadian for the RMYC, or the Regional Mid Year Convention. sobrang crowded ng bus, sisikan sa loob (pwede rin sa labas, jen.

TANAN!

HAHAHA. :D

kung convention hall naman din ang focus ng kwento ko ngayon, hindi ko dapat makalimutang ikwento ang nangayari sa 2 nights naming andun. may evening events kasing prenipare para saamin, both of them may corresponding theme. first night: HOLLYWOOD. second night: PIRATES.

eh kame, since first time namin at wala pa kameng kamuwang muwang, medyo naghanda kame. medyo lang naman! si teltel, naglong gown habang si scepter nag coat and tie, kame bumili talaga ng piraso ng tela sa gaisano para lang magmukhang pirates, so hindi naman masyado. hahaha! look oh. TADAAA! :)

well, if you look at us, hindi naman talaga ganun ka-over ang preparations na ginawa namin. pero if you were in our place, alam mo yung feeling na overdressed ka? ganun yun eh. pano ba naman, holloywood ang theme tapos pupunta ka dun ng naka maong pants? hahaha. sinong artista ang ginagaya mo, teh? interesting taste in fashion ah? -__- :))

anyway, these two nights went well, i mean aside from the fact na nagenjoy akong ayusin ang sarili ko (at panuoring mag-ayos ang ibang tao sa kwarto), enjoy yung events mismo. kahit na sobrang late na kung matapos, 'twas fun. thumbs up. wink*. :)

*to be continued**
