A pleasant little traveling companion on my bike tour to from Portland to San Francisco. I was planning on telling the story of every one, but a picture says a million words, so here are the remaining ones.

From Eugene, we scooted up to Portland. Upon arriving in town, we were able to meet up with our friends Zach and Stephanie from Richmond. Zach has lots of previous experience in Portland, so he played tour guide through town  took us to a great vista at the Pittock Mansion.

Our friend Miles Quillen seriously went out of his way to hook us up with a private room in his house and so graciously showed us around the Columbia River Gorge for an afternoon.

I shot a few rolls of film in the pacific northwest, so we’ll have to do a little flashback once that gets developed!

Hey friends, just wanted to take a moment to pass along something really cool. During the MBMBaM Pacific Northwest tour, we worked with a group called Plus One, which helped us to donate a dollar from every ticket sold to a Huntington, WV domestic violence shelter called Branches. We just heard that the effort raised over $2200 for the shelter, which is being put towards a new roof. We just wanted you to know that if you came out to Portland, Seattle or Vancouver, you literally helped to put a roof over the head of people who really need it, and we think that’s pretty darn cool.
