“The title of the exhibition is meant to express the abstract idea of the relationship between the works and the space, the viewers, and between the two different cultures of tradition and modernity.“ – Liu Jianhua, October 2015.
Liu Jianhua: Between opens next week at Pace London. The exhibition coincides with "Asian Art in London."
Opening Tonight: Spanning the gallery of Pace London is Keith Coventry’s “Window, 2016” a cast bronze work modelled after a bombed-out storefront. Lending a sense of permanence to the discarded, this large sculpture memorializes a transient moment in the building’s history. If you’re in London join us at 6 Burlington Gardens for the opening reception of “White, Black, Gold” opening tomorrow, April 27 from 6-8 PM.
