Joseph Gordon-Levitt performing “Rhythm Nation” on #LipSyncBattle

Joseph Gordon-Levitt by Jim Wright for Gotham

For an interview between friends (Channing Tatum is the interviewer) this is surprisingly tame. I’d like to know more about this incident:

CT: My experience with you in New York has been uniquely interesting.
JGL: You mean the time you climbed up the space of my apartment, broke into my house, and surprised me when I was sleeping in order to prove that I should probably take better care to protect myself because if you were ill intentioned you could have murdered me? That time?

  • what she says:I'm fine.
  • what she means:Inception came out 5 years ago now, and yet the fandom for Arthur and Eames is still insanely strong and just as passionate as it was when the movie first came out. I mean think about it, Arthur and Eames have about 10 minutes of screen time *together*, but so much has come out from their brief scenes and even more from when they're not together, and by what's implied. It was the start of Tom Hardy's Hollywood career and he's been non-stop pretty much since that, but no one will ever forget 'Mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger darling'. I mean *that* literally started the fandom - IT WAS AN IMPROVISED LINE. And they've obviously worked together before, I mean Eames tells Arthur 'Your condescension as always is much appreciated' so he must have shown some sort of impression on him in the past on another job, they know how each other work, of course they've worked together before. What kind of job was it? Were they close? Did they work with Cobb or with someone else? Did they hate each other at first? I mean this all happened in one film, not a film series or tv show with multiple season, it was ONE film that happened five years ago.
