“At some point, Veronica would have had to have gone back to New York to collect 9 years worth of her possessions, which would have been the perfect time to get full closure on Veronica and Piz. I’ve always shipped LoVe, but I would have loved to have seen Pizonica get some real closure in the books. Piz deserved at least that.”
Note: Veronica only lived in NYC for less than 5 years as she went to Columbia University. The previous years she spent in Standford, California. She and Piz broke up when she left Neptune and they’ve only been dated for a year when they got together in NY, Rob Thomas confirmed it.
Eye candy–Geoff Stults, Parker Young, Chris Lowell–aside, Enlisted is a pretty good, funny, zany show from Kevin Biegel. To get a better idea of his style, it’s worth noting Biegel co-created Cougar Town. Anyhow, check out the sole season if only for the eye candy. Namely Stults.
Inspired by the short-lived but beloved show from the 80s, GLOW tells the fictional story of Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie), an out-of-work, struggling actress in 1980s Los Angeles who finds one last chance for stardom when she’s thrust into the glitter and spandex world of women’s wrestling. In addition to working with 12 Hollywood misfits, Ruth also has to compete with Debbie Eagan (Betty Gilpin), a former soap actress who left the business to have a baby, only to be sucked back into work when her picture perfect life turns out not to be what it seems. At the wheel is Sam Sylvia (Marc Maron), a washed-up, B-movie director who now must lead this group of women on the journey to wrestling super stardom.
Starring: Alison Brie, Marc Maron, Betty Gilpin, Chris Lowell, Sunita Mani, Gayle Rankin, Sydelle Noel, Ellen Wong, Jackie Tohn, Britney Young
