Jonathan Miller, Alan Bennett, Dudley Moore and Peter Cook merged the talents of the Cambridge Footlights and the Oxford Revue in Beyond The Fringe, a West End sketch show that cemented the ‘60s satirical comedy movement and bridged the era between The Goon Show and Monty Python’s Flying Circus.

Miller went on to become a doctor, but also a successful author and TV presenter; Bennett, one of the UK’s premier playwrights; and Moore and Cook formed one of the most successful comedy duo acts, with their own hit stage shows, movies, and albums.
