If there’s a way to increase the #ROM on a lift, do it. By increasing the range of motion on am exercise, you’ll get a lot more out of the muscle.

Here I’ve simply added a half foam roller to the seat to create a better stretch in my chest in the bottom of the range. Remember to experiment with your training.
