GOLDFINGER (1964)

One of Bond’s most stylish outings, complete with a Ken Adam-designed villian’s lair, Fort Knox interior, and ejector seat (inspired by Adam’s days as a pilot). Never, even amongst other films in this franchise, has modernism been so blatantly cast as the realm of the bad guy: Ian Fleming named the title character after English Brutalist architect Ernö Goldfinger.   (Poster re-design by Owain Wilson.)
