You’ll develop a love hate relationship with meth as soon as you try it. The most important thing is to have a friend with you that has enough drug experience to keep you grounded. Don’t be afraid to ask as many questions as you want. When you smoke it, it’s like a nice, chill feeling entering your lungs. Two hits later you’re feeling it. Everything speeds up, you start getting worried about your heart rate. It’s fine. Take it easy first. See what your limit is. If you can’t handle any more, relax for a few hours. Don’t try and force yourself to sleep. It doesn’t work. Please remember to drink plenty of water, eat, bathe, brush your teeth after using and just take care of yourself. You can be doing all sorts of things and it’s suddenly 3am and you haven’t slept in a day. Two days is a free for all, you can do as much as you want and get higher and higher. On the third day you develope a tolerance. Listen to it. Take a break for a few days. If you continue, you’ll have to do twice as much just to get the same high you want if you just smoked a small amount. Tolerance sucks but it’s also a blessing. If you can, go out and do things. Just remember to breathe slowly and calm yourself if you are too high. You’ll probably flail around a few times and wonder what the fuck you’re doing. You’ll quickly learn “tweaker time” is bullshit and 10 minutes means 2 hours. Meth is cheap. Just buy small amounts. You’ll experience a come down once you start sobering up. You’ll probably be full of weird emotions. It will probably the shittiest you feel, but, it’s just a reminder that drugs are bad and all good things come to an end. If you end up freaking out on someone while coming down, explain that it’s just the drug making you act that way. If you want to combine meth with another drug, please research extensively. Once again, remind yourself to eat, drink, take care of yourself and sleep. Don’t be awake for weeks. Don’t let yourself get freaked out and become a Paranoid Floyd, it’s just the drug. Take it easy. I’m starting to chill out with how much I do. It takes time. There is such a thing as acute meth overdose. Look up the symptoms and be educated. If you feel like you’re becoming addicted, voice your concerns and talk to your friends. Sobering up is a high in itself. You soon notice what being sober is like again compared to going at hyper speed. Learn The drug lingo. It’s complicated and confusing, the price isn’t bad either. Start out with a quarter. Make it last a few days. Have someone who knows how to buy drugs buy them for you. Drug dealers will sell anything to make money, they’ll sell you salt or anything that looks like meth. Look intensely at your stuff. Memorize what the crystals look like. Each batch is different and either stronger or weaker. Don’t do an insane amount at a time. Don’t burn the pipe, DON’T BURN THE PIPE. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the high. How you wish to continue using is your choice. Most importantly, do not let your pipe roll over if you just filled it, make sure your bindle is closed and don’t set your pipe on your bindle. Be careful shooting up, have someone with experience do it for you the first few times. if you miss, take a break. Be smart about your drug use and keep someone with experience nearby, always. There’s a lot of info and knowledge to take in, don’t rush it and when in doubt, the internet is your friend. Tina will either be your best friend or your worst enemy. As you sober up, you’ll probably feel depressed and sad and angry. That’s just the drug and your body wanting it. Fight it.
FINAL REMINDER. DON’T FORGET TO EAT, SLEEP, TAKE A TOLERANCE BREAK, DRINK WATER, GO OUTSIDE AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND PETS IF YOU HAVE THEM.
What Methamphetamine has taught me since my first time using in December.
Stay hydrated, start off slow with small test lines and shit, know the symptoms of overdose just in case, keep a sober friend around (or at least someone who’s experienced with it), overall just be careful and don’t be stupid.
.You and your group run up to the safe room. Once everyone is inside, you shut the door. Everything goes black. You come back into consciousness, not knowing how long it has been. You think you hear the twang of an electric guitar, but cannot place where its coming from.
.You’ve gone through six bottles of Aspirin today. The pills hurt your throat as they go down. You wait for the overdose symptoms to set in, but they never come. You twist the cap off another bottle.
.You saw your companion die. The pool of blood, the light leave the eyes. The group moves on. A time later you hear pounding. A familiar voice shouts and pleads to be let out. Your companion is freed from the shack, and the group proceeds. Nobody mentions it.
.The more you hear about him, the more you start to believe that Keith isn’t real.
.A smoker has you. Struggling, choking, dying, you call to your team. They approach you, staring. They make no move to help you. They just stare.
.Weapons and projectiles are encased in a strange blue glow as you approach them. No one knows why.
.Your injuries are never visible, but you and your companions seem to just know when you need to be healed. They wipe off blood that isn’t there, and bandage your undamaged skin. Somehow you feel better.
