Aiming to ease such hurdles is Outfest Fusion, a festival where films by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people of diverse racial backgrounds are screened and film making workshops are held. Outfest Fusion kicks off Friday and runs through March 16.
I have never seen so many drag queens, rainbows, and adorable gay boys in my life! OutFest was a fabulous experience and I cannot wait to go again next year. I wish I could go back and tell the younger me that he would witness something so incredible. Never would I have believed that a rainbow flag would fly at City Hall and people of all ages, backgrounds, races, and sexualities would take to the streets in a celebration of our community. Thank you Philadelphia, it is a pleasure to call you home.
Don’t forget to come to Philadelphia’s Gayborhood Sunday, October 12, 2014 to celebrate National Coming-Out Day with us! Outfest is the largest NCOD event in the world hosting over 40,000 people annually. Rain or shine, from noon to 6:00 PM, there will be music, dancing, awards, family events, parties, great food, contests, pet adoptions and more… Not to mention all of the cute boys who will be there… Just saying you do not want to miss this event!
