Yo I don't ship 2doc but in that new little ad they're... in Murdoc's bedroom and... they're standing so close to each other... lmao
I know I’ve said this before but whoever is contributing to the script writing and/or animation is honestly out of control because the body language in that video, in addition to the setting (like you said) is basically setting the stage for a 2Doc shippers to put their own pieces together. Like, it literally looks like they forgot that a film crew was coming and were caught in the middle of something (Murdoc recovers quickly, but 2D is just awkwardly standing there and almost fucking leans completely into him? lmao). Ofc, you can interpret this in a 2Doc way or a non-2Doc way like, maybe they were about to smoke a bowl together (because I also agree with the one comment that said 2D looks high) or Murdoc was going to show him his stolen paintings. IDK!
AND THEN, idk if anyone else saw this yet but they released ANOTHER mini-interview which is probably their most awkward yet. The reason I bring it up in this answer is because in it, 2D says he likes the interviewer’s hair and then says it’s “like Murdoc’s” (with an add on of “only better”) and Murdoc calls him a “naughty boy” ??!?!? Not to say there aren’t ways to explain all of this away but they’re also making it incredibly easy for fans to take some of these interactions and go wild.
This person did a video using footage from my animation. That video got more views than my own. This person’s video made of stolen content was stolen by other users. The stolen video was stolen by different other users, and multiple more users stole from them. Add a couple of lame reaction videos to the stolen video. The video was uploaded to Facebook and got millions of views. No credit anywhere in sight.
This is why I don’t allow people to use my videos! Even with credit. It just goes out of control once someone steals from the person who has permission (or not, in this case.)
I have spent the last hour reporting every instance of the video made with my content and its many, many copies and I’m not even done!
When I say please don’t use my videos, I mean DON’T FRICKING USE MY VIDEOS CAN YOU NOT READ YOU PIECE OF TRASH! Now everyone is getting a copyright strike! Merry Christmas!
For those who wonder, the stolen video is “The Charmander song”. You’ll find it easily. Half of it is made from my “Charmander gets his wings” video (and other people’s stolen content).
I have been watching Pewdiepie for 6 years, and have seen him change and grow in so many ways. His content has improved, his jokes have improved, and he has done so much for others that no one ever talks about. Anytime I’ve asked someone “have you heard of Pewdiepie?” the response is always “isn’t that the guy who gets paid millions to scream and play video games?” It’s ridiculous.
Everyone who has actually watched his videos knows what a genuinely nice and caring person he is. (Even if he wants to seem more “hardcore” than he really is haha.) We can see and appreciate his reason for making the video and all of the other videos he has received hate for.
There are so many other channels and videos out there that are clearly and purposefully spreading hate that will suffer no consequences because they aren’t in the public eye (or signed to a network) like Felix is. Which would be understandable had it been Felix’s intention to spread hate and to be anti-semitic.
I find it funny that he literally made that video to show that people will do and say anything for money and then these “news” sites immediately prove him right.
This situation has gotten extremely out of control and I believe that if his video had been left alone, it would of been quickly forgotten and would of made significantly less of an impact than it did thanks to the Wall Street Journal. They brought it outside of Felix’s audience and out to the public. They spread it and they made it a topic of interest. They, if anyone, were the ones being anti-semitic in this situation.
Regardless of all of this, I will continue to support Pewdiepie and I hope he will continue to grow and improve and enjoy making videos. Thank you for 6 years of laughter and many more to come, Felix. We know you aren’t the monster they are trying to make you seem.
This video project got out of control in the best way possible.
It was supposed to be five minutes of, basically, “FFXV is a game about obedience, and it uses a lot of Christian-sounding terminology to underscore that.” What it turned into was me muttering, “What in the world? How?!” over and over as I realized that the game was making the sorts of parallels that even full-on allegory often doesn’t bother with.
This isn’t just “Noct is a self-sacrificial hero,” and it’s not just “the rebar in the background when Noct walks to his fate looks like a cross,” either. You really have to watch the video to understand how deep this rabbit hole goes.
Incidentally, I’m now on Twitter… which I’ll probably use mostly to post videos, links to particularly extensive bits of analysis, and responses to entities that don’t exist on Tumblr. Feel free to follow me there if you’re interested!
So here we are~ Honestly I never expected to be here, I have been having the time of my life the past few months on this blog, and it’s been one of the most amazing RP experiences of my life! This has been one of the friendliest, most welcoming fandoms I’ve ever been in and I cherish every moment of my time here! I really can’t thank you all enough, I’ve loved sharing my Professor and all of my ideas with you guys and I’m so glad you all love what I have. You all have given me all the time I could possibly want to spend time with him. You all have even turned Squid-mun into somewhat of a character and I cannot express how much that touches my heart, so without further a-do let’s get to the thank you’s!
Rated T. I do not own Fairy Tail, Hiro Mashima does.
Summary: Lucy was having fun playing ‘Pokémon Go!’ when she accidentally put herself in harm’s way. Luckily a pink haired boy saved her just in the nick of time. A ‘thank you’ lunch helped spark a new friendship between them, but Lucy got more than she bargained for when she realized the boy she befriended had a complex past full of dark secrets. Fortunately for him, Lucy won’t be scared away so easily. Modern High School AU. Slight Angst/Drama/Fluff.
Lucy rushed down the stairs as soon as she heard the doorbell ring. She barely got a wink of sleep last night, too excited for the sleepover today. Running past Virgo down the hall, Lucy nearly fell when she came to an abrupt stop in front of the door.
With a huge smile, Lucy jerked the door open, revealing Levy and Juvia. “Hey! Come in!”
Stepping aside, Lucy opened the door wider for her friends to enter. Erza was still missing, but she said she had to run a few errands before she could come over.
Levy marveled at the large house once again, mouth hanging open as she made her way to the living room. “Just as big as ever.”
“Juvia is impressed.” She followed Levy, eyes wandering around while Lucy closed the door.
“Make yourselves at home. There’s snacks and drinks in the dining room.” Lucy was bubbling with excitement and nervousness. She wanted her first real sleepover to go well. Sure Michelle and her used to have sleepovers when they were little, but they didn’t feel as official since they were cousins. This was her first time having friends from school sleep over at her house.
Dear all ThatPoppy fans: please check out the video “They Have Taken Control”. In it she wears a bright rainbow sweater, notably different from her usual pastel aesthetic. In the tags, you can find a mention of her sweater’s brand, and also the hashtag #gay. And in the video itself, she seems to be undergoing a sort of conversion (can you see the link to “conversion therapy”?), and the video itself is about control.
Running with the theme of conversion therapy, there is an obvious change in Poppy over the course of the videos. Her friends notice this, saying “she’s changed”. And a coerced transformation is heavily alluded to in “Step 1” and “Step 2”.
It doesn’t stop there, though.
Look at one of her first videos, a cover of the song “My Kind of Woman”. All of her videos seem to be very carefully considered. Could this early one have a deeper meaning?
Finally, I want you to look at her hair throughout her videos. In the beginning of her channel, her hair was very thick and wavy, but over time, it was straightened more and more. In her most recent ones, it’s straight as a pin. I’ve always thought it was symbolism for society and her record label forcing her to fit a mold- and that it could have implications of her being “converted” to being straight.
