You have no idea how happy I am that you’re alive today. I hope you have the courage to keep going. I know life can be difficult, but I feel you have the fight in you. That fact that you’re still here and reading this proves enough. I have faith in you to make it. You are worth so much and you are loved, even on days it doesn’t feel like it. If anything else, I wish to be your love today.

I honestly wish I could say something that hasn’t already been said to you, @markiplier . You are such an inspiring and kind soul. You have been so transparent with us since day one. I’ve never doubted your honesty, and I don’t believe anyone else has either. As an animation student in college right now, I can only hope and dream that I can leave such a positive impact on as many lives as you have. You are loved and I can’t wait to see what you acheive next❤️

STOP SCROLLING.

Do NOT cut tonight. I know it’s hard and I know there are good reasons. But promise me. Whenever you see this on your dash you don’t cut tonight. Don’t even think about it. Whatever happened today to make you want to do this, it’s gone. It’s over. Don’t think about it. Put your favorite music on and think of the best thing you can imagine. And keep those blades away from your beautiful skin. Please. Stay strong. I promise you, you’re not alone. I love you.

Stop. Take a couple of moments right now to write down all of your positive qualities. All of them; each and every one. Once you do this, really take a look at what you have written. Is it accurate? Have you truly given yourself enough credit? Enough self respect? Do you deserve to give yourself and all of your many traits more of an acknowledgment?

self care is important

anyways, please do not forget…

to sleep: sleeping is important and you should strive to get 8-9 hours of quality sleep each night. that means you should try to stay away from blue light emitting devices (i.e. computers, phones, tablets) about 30-60 minutes before your bedtime. naps are also great! just make sure they’re not messing up your sleep schedule.

to drink your water: okay, everyone says it, but i know for a fact that you’re not doing it. at least, i’m not. so drink up! if you’re not big on water, try eating fruits and veggies that have a lot of water content. now, don’t you feel a little better?

to eat balanced meals (and snacks!): for some people, it’s hard to remember to eat, and for others, it’s hard to resist that last cookie. just remember to keep healthy snacks on hand, but if you’re not eating “perfectly”, don’t be too hard on yourself. what matters is that you get enough nutrients to function properly. if this is hard to do for you, try reaching out for support.

to take a break: it’s very tempting to try and finish your language arts essay in an hour and a half sitting, but will this increase productivity, or increase stress? try getting up for a stretch break every 20 minutes. you don’t want your eyes to become too tired or for your hand to cramp up!

to appreciate yourself and others: often, we take a lot of things for granted, and some of those things include yourself, your loved ones and friends, and ordinary people around the world. taking a moment to recognize this well help you become more mindful of your surroundings and can change your attitude.

you’re beautiful, smart, talented, and a good, thoughtful person. look how far you’ve come and how far you’ll go. you are capable of amazing things. now, go out there and spread love.

A friend of mine, who is Muslim, told me that with everything going on, her little sister thinks that they should just change their religion because she thinks it’s their fault. This made me really heartbroken. This is not your fault or your religion’s and I’m so sorry you’re going through this. So here’s a little reminder, 

This is not your fault. You are not a problem. Your religion is not a problem. You are loved.
