note: bear and eagle (gryphon) for the Montague and Capulet house crests as shown in the series, red and blue for the respective house colors (though I used a bit softer tones and went more for the cold vs warm colors).

Are you too blind to see that I’m trying to help you, give you back what you’ve lost, restore your nobility, let you live out your life in some kind of comfort? You think that’s what I want? What I lost when I was just a girl too young and stupid to see the bars of the cage she’d been raised in? I don’t want what I lost. I don’t want comfort. I don’t even know what comfort is anymore.

I love Anne and Gilbert since I was a child. So, here a little fanfiction in comic (well in sketch :D)
Miss Stacy introduces Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, but she inverted the characters, so Anne plays Romeo and Gilbert Juliet. It was very funny for me to draw this little scene. It was a lot of time that I didn’t enjoy so much drawing! So, I wanted to publish it ^^ Hope you like it :)

Thank you so much for your kind words about my performance in Juliet and Romeo. Really, it means the world to me. <3

Thank you for your performance! It was a lovely rendering of the orchard and death scenes. I actually even cried the first time I saw it, because you delivered Romeo’s last speech so very soulfully. I loved (and by that I mean it broke my heart to pieces) how pitifully your voice trembled, how piercingly you cried, and how tenderly you kissed Juliet for the last time.

Thank you for this wonderful lesbian adaptation. LGBT productions of Romeo and Juliet are so relevant, and yours is just so sweetly made, I find myself rewatching it over and over again.

For those who have not seen it yet, here you can watch it! It’s just 15 minutes long, and I promise it’s worth it!

A little twist on Shakespeare for Valentine’s Day could be lovely
