would you consider OTH to be a "meta" show (like GMW)? (also random side note: the soundtrack to OTH is AMAZING)

Meta means a multitude of things, but in the way you are probably thinking (GMW esque I am assuming) I would say no.

Dawson’s Creek though. Meta AF.

From the time I was around 12 or 13 I could be found cuddled up on my best friend’s floor watching this show. We would lay there with crossed feet, head in our hands, as close to that little television as we could possibly get. If the show was on, we were in that world, soaking in every part of it. Music just happen to be a key component.  Artists made appearances and performed. Every pivotal moment had a song that was simply unforgettable. This was what made mondays bearable: the characters I watched for 9 whole seasons who began to feel like family and the songs they lived by. One Tree Hill instilled a genuine love for music in my heart. Here’s how,
