organic mask

Weekend beauty tips ;)

So I haven’t done this in a while, lack of time and such. but I’m about to fuck you up with some great DIY face masks, it’s the weekend so pamper yourself, pal.

You need to clean your pores?

This one great for acne. All you need is apple cider vinegar and some bentonite clay, which you can get at any Trader Joe´s. Mix equal parts of each ingrediet and leave on your face till it hardens and wash off with warm water to make it easier. The benotine clay will soak up impurities and with the ACV in the mix, it’ll draw out toxins. I always try and rest while doing this one, put cucumbers over my eyes and all just cause the ACV is kinda rough and it hurts my eyes a little. Your face will be red after this so do it at night, or at least 30 minutes before you go out. It goes away and leaves your skin flawless.

Acne? (for oily/combination, acne prone skin)

You need ¼ of an avocado and some egg whites. Mix it until you’ve got a  paste and apply it to your face for a good 15-20 minutes. It’ll leave your skin moisturized, but not over moisturized. Trust me, it’s amazing !

Dry skin?

You’ll need a cucumber, half a cup of plain yogurt and a spoon of milk powder. You’ll need to peel the cucumber and then cut it up into small pieces. Get rid of the seeds in the middle and then put it into your blender or food processor. Add the yogurt and the milk powder. Mix it all until you get a smooth, yet thick substance. Nothing too thick or runny cause that’s annoying and it’ll make a mess, we don’t need that in our lives haha. Now put it on your clean, dry face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. RINSE WITH COLD WATER.

After all of these, you’ll wanna close your pores with an ice cube or just cold af water. I cannot stress this enough, PAT YOUR FACE DRY, it avoids wrinkles and the spread of bacteria.

That’s all I’ve got today, love ya’ll.

Code Yellow

A/N:  Thanks for the lovely ask! I thought this one would be easy to write, but it harder than I imagined. This time, my lovely writing friends jumped in with a ton of ideas on how to make the story realistic. Thank you, as always, my friends! ( @little-black-dress-24, @niallandharrymakemestrong, @melissas173, @emulateharry) I’m so appreciative that they let me hang out with them and that they share their honest opinions about my writing. They push me to be better every time. Go read their writing. You won’t be disappointed.

I love my sister-in-law. Honestly, few people could have survived my Code Pink. Indeed, many had been ruthlessly eliminated from dating my brother early in the protocol. Plus, I’d been able to help Harry with his Code White when he was ready to propose to her. I’d heard all about the proposal once he decided she was The One, but honestly….she’s the best sister-in-law I could have asked for.

Whenever I’m bored or Michael is busy, I head over to my brother’s house, especially when he’s out of town on tour like he is now. My SIL and I get along as if we were born sisters. We laugh at the same things, and I love that she is always willing to listen to my stories about my cat or the latest piece I’m writing. Which is how I find myself at Harry’s house tonight. My little brother is out of tour with his second album; I think he’s somewhere in Asia tonight. Maybe Japan? Who knows? I can’t keep up with his schedule.

It’s no secret, coconut oil for hair has been a true blessing for women wanting to bring their damaged curls back to bouncy life.

Many things can cause your hair to look bad. Straightening your hair too often of even an illness can cause your hair to lose its life and luster. If your hair ever looks dull or starts feeling brittle or straw-like, this new coconut oil and honey hair recipe works wonders and usually only after using it twice, you can have your bouncy curls back and have hair that looks ready for any beauty magazine photo shoot. I recommend this to ANYONE with damaged/fuzzy hair, undefined curls. So many ladies who are new to this hair revitalization method are absolutely AMAZED to see the quick and gorgeous results.

Coconut Oil & Honey Hair Mask

What You’ll Need:

•3 tbs extra virgin coconut oil

•1.5 tbs honey

•2 egg yolks (optional if you need protein)

•Hair Therapy Wrap or a heated towel. ( I prefer a heated towel)

•A few drops of essential oil for fragrance (optional)

•Melt the coconut oil in the microwave for a few seconds – Don’t cook it, just melt it.

•Pour the coconut oil into a bowl, add the honey, and mix. (You may have to work at it, as the two don’t easily mix.)

• Add the essential oil at this point if you wish. (The mask does not smell bad if you don’t add any fragrance!)

•Apply the (still hot) mixture to your wet hair from ends to roots.

•Put on your Hair Therapy Wrap, alternatively you can warm a towel in the microwave and wrap your hair in it.

•Wait 45 minutes, or for really damaged hair you can leave the treatment in overnight (just wear a shower cap)

One thing to note:

Coconut oil can make tubs and floors very slippery! It will drip, even with a shower cap on, so be careful. Also, if you take a bath while the coconut oil hair mask is absorbing, some of the oil will make its way into the tub, giving your skin a hydrating treatment. Remember, using coconut oil for hair is only one of its MANY uses, besides using it for conditioning and hair growth treatments, using coconut oil for skin and face brings many beauty benefits like soft younger looking skin. But avoid using it on your face if your skin is naturally oily.

Mels did you see that Zayn referred to himself as a 'natural beauty' as per the article about his family's beauty salon? That secretive hoe is never giving us his Sephora shopping list is he? He's all 'yew cahn pry dis serum from my cold dead hands' (ps can you tell I've signed up for your Zaynglish classes at the learning annex?)

“He joked that he was a natural beauty and would not need to use any of our beauty treatments!

That glamorous, secretive, delicately inked and well-moisturized sparkle butterfly won’t even give his own MOM any serum recs? I SEE HOW IT IS, ZAYN.

“Ahm a nahturel beauhtee,” he said to his mom as he checked the time on his phone to see how much longer his organic sheet mask would need to be on. “Ah wuhn’t beh needin’ dees treatmuhnts”, he laughed as he checked the option for Sephora VIB Rouge Flash shipping on his order.

I feel like Nicolas Cage in National Treasure trying to find a sacred scripture. WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO GET HIS SERUMS LIST? What kind of NDA do I need to sign?

The Baby Dolls were one of the first women’s organizations to appear mask on during New Orlean’s Mardi Gras celebration. Formed in 1912, the organization of African American women used their profits from working in the city’s red light district to compete with other black women of their profession during Mardi Gras.

The Toa Inika were a unique team of Toa in several ways. Each of their natural elemental powers were intwined with lightning, making their abilities absolutely awe inspiring and a force to be reckoned with. Their masks were organic and possessed sentience. Even their transformation into Toa was unorthodox. Yet despite all of this, the Toa Inika adjusted to their new forms rather quickly. They had to. With the Toa Nuva’s lives hanging in the balance and the Mask of Life initiating its countdown to total annihilation of the entire Matoran Universe, failure was not an option and every second wasted drastically lessened their chance for success.

How to fix dry lips

I’m someone who has suffered dry lips for as long as I can remember and boy have they gotten bad. Some days I would wake up with dry, cracked, peeling and sometimes even bleeding lips, and no matter how many diet changes I made, how much water I drank nothing really helped, but after my years of beauty blogging I’ve come across a few amazing products and tips to help  get rid of dry lips and keep them in tip top condition…

Some of my favourite lip care products which include: *Nuxe Reve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm, Manuka Honey, Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask, *Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid, *Suvana Paw Paw & Honey Balm, *Rosehip Plus Roll On Oil
