a/n: my first woozi fic, my first seventeen fic, my first kpop fic. this was supposed to be something really simple and silly, but my dumb ass had to go and add a bunch of sadness and backstory to it, as always. as you can see, it got dramatically out of hand. i’m so sorry, i hope someone likes it
~ in which you haven’t gotten off in like six months, and lee jihoon is the pleasure specialist, himself. (he’s also a little bit more than that.)
“I promise you, you won’t regret this,” Wendy reassured you, but they were words she always said right before she convinced you to do something that you definitely would regret. She’d used them very often over the past year, during which she’d somehow convinced you to go on roughly thirty blind dates that she’d set up in her desperate attempts to get you “back out there.” You knew her heart was in the right place, but every single date had been a disaster. The problem was that if she knew a guy who wasn’t already taken, there was a reason for it. The first set-up been with a guy named Jinho who still lived with his ex-girlfriend (in a one bedroom apartment) and adamantly refused to wear deodorant; one guy, Jinwoo, told you he had recently quit his job and moved back in with his parents because he hadn’t had enough time to play League; you’d tried so hard to will yourself to forget the second to last guy, but how could you forget the name (Daehyun) of someone who sat down across from you and proceeded to ignore you for the whole two hours it took him to eat a salad, baked potato, and two steaks before “suddenly realizing” he forgot his wallet, telling you he didn’t think you were his type, and leaving you to foot the bill.
School’s been stressing me out a bit, so I thought I’d make time for myself to make something delicious.
I got inspiration from chef Deuki Hong’s video he did with Munchies, where he shows off his fried rice that’s not complicated and easy to make drunk! I’ve stopped drinking though, so the last part doesn’t apply to me.
You can watch the video by chef Hong, and how I went about making the kimchi fried rice at the jump. Check it out!
김치 (gim-chi) Kimchi or kimchee. Traditional fermented vegetable dish often served as a side dish or cooked into the meal e.g. 김치볶음밥 (gim-chi-bokk-eum-bap) kimchi fried rice or 김치찌개 (gim-chi-jji-gae) kimchi stew.
라면 (ra-myun) Ramyun is instant noodles. You’ll see a lot of people eating these in dramas and are sold cheaply at korean markets. There are many variations of these but one you can find easily is 신라면 (shin-ra-myun), one of the most popular brands.
떡볶이 (ddeok-bokk-i) Spicy stir fried rice cakes. There isn’t really a proper translation but think of these as delicious spicy but sweet rice cakes. They’re a street food and often contain fish cakes.
불고기 (bul-go-gi) Bulgogi. Literally: fire meat. Bulgogi can be beef, pork, chicken….. It will specify on the menu. Meat is marinated then grilled. Delicious.
짜장면 (jja-jang-myun) Jjajangmyun. A Korean-Chinese black bean noodle dish. Available at Korean Chinese takeaways. This is noodles, 면 (myun) means noodles, in a thick black bean sauce with minced pork and vegetables. This is a variation of the Chinese dish zhajiangmian.
잡채 (jap-chae) Japchae. Glass noodles with mixed vegetables, sometimes with meat.
You and your ex-boyfriend Jungkook meet in a party one night. He’s
the endorser of the brand and you were the representative. (Inspired by Park
Sangmin’s After This Night)
Angst, Fluff; Head!Canon
Warning(s): eh. PG-13 stuff. Did not proofread tho. REQUESTS ARE CLOSED indefinitely. :)
If it were up to Jeon Jungkook, he would have preferred never to
see you again.
But destiny has its way of playing tricks on him because after 3
years, he’s being forced to see his ex-girlfriend again… as the
representative of the brand he’s endorsing. On one side, he’s proud of how
far you’ve come. You were just an assistant manager when you met him during a
photoshoot and there you were, surrounded by countless people who were
congratulating you for the successful event that he was attending and for being
the representative of the headquarters. On the other side, he was somewhat sad
because you’ve gone so far and didn’t come back.
“Y/N!” he heard Taehyung’s
voice come from behind him which broke Jungkook’s reverie.
“Aish… This Kim Taehyung…”
Jimin immediately followed Taehyung after a quick glance at Jungkook’s face.
But you had already heard
your name and turned, catching Jungkook’s familiar glossy eyes. You tried to
smile at him, but Taehyung was already grinning in front of you, looking at you
from head to toes. He had this look on his face, one that told you that your
flawless make-up and perfectly tailored suit and heels came as a surprise to
“Oh, Tae… and Jimin too!
Hi, long time no see.” You flashed them your mega-watt smile and while Taehyung
was still awed, Jimin returned your greeting.
“It’s good to see you, Y/N!
You look great. Now, if you may excuse us…” he gritted through his teeth and
elbowed Taehyung who was still gaping at you. “…I believe you need to talk to other
guests who are more important than us.”
“Wh-What? This party is for
us! We’re the most important people here and I still want to talk to Y/N!” Taehyung
called when Jimin began dragging him away.
You giggled and rolled your
eyes as you watched them saunter off. You faced in front of you again and
smiled at Jungkook. His expression was frozen, but he thought your smile was as
endearing as ever. You raised a hand and waved at him, a somewhat childish
gesture, but it’s the way you and Jungkook have always greeted each other. He
raised his larger hand and reciprocated while slowly stepping closer towards
“오랜민이야.” You had
to take a deep breath discreetly when he stood so close to you.
“어, 오랜만 이네.” Some
part of Jungkook refused to believe that you were standing in front of him, but
you were and it took a lot more effort than it should to return your words.
“Walk with me?” you
gestured with a nod to the door connecting to the outdoor garden.
Jungkook nodded stiffly and
you rolled your eyes for the second time that night before looping your arm
with his. You could tell from the way he almost halted in his steps that he was
stunned, but he curled his own arm instinctively and led the way.
You guys stood in the open
air and you had to admit that you missed the spring nights of Seoul. You grabbed
a flute of champagne from a passing waiter’s tray and as usual, Jungkook
refused a drink.
You were silent for a few
moments, letting a certain feeling of security settle in, the way it used to
when you two were still together. It had been difficult for the both of you to
break the walls that both of you built when you were still starting out, but after
all those time together (and maybe all those time apart too), you both felt
like you trusted each other enough to let go of any inhibitions.
“So… how’s Germany?” he was
the first to speak up.
“Cold.” You snickered. “…but
hey, lots of alcohol.”
He raised an eyebrow, but
didn’t ask further. “You? Busy as ever?”
A look of pain crossed his
wide eyes, and you knew he remembered how his busy schedule had been the very
cause of your break-up, but years has allowed him to mask it almost perfectly. “Some
things don’t change.”
“Oh yeah? What else?” You
leaned your elbow on the railing of the veranda, so that you were directly
His eyes wandered around
for another answer because his first instinct was to say, ‘Well, everything
else except you.’
Finally, he found the
unusually clear night sky and said, “The night sky… It feels like it’s been the
same night sky that I’ve been looking at for the past three years.”
You glanced at him, but his
eyes only reflected the twinkling stars. “Why? Did you look at the stars a lot
during that three years?”
To your surprise, he easily
nodded and answered without his usual hesitation when it comes to such prying
questions, “Yeah, I looked at them and wondered what you were doing. Were you
looking at the same sky?”
And just when you started
doubting Jeon Jungkook’s ability to make your heart skip a beat, you felt your it
skip a whole measure of a song instead.
“Then, I’d realize that I
began missing you again, so I’d go and do something to occupy my mind.” He continued,
his pounding heart providing the distraction he needed to keep himself from
looking at you.
“Is that why you’ve been
writing quite a few of Bangtan’s songs recently?” you teased and you knew, it
would make him look at you. “I missed you a lot too, Jungkook.”
His eyes immediately fell
to the ground because he knew that his cheeks blushing red would be the only
natural reaction to your statement. Realizing that your statement might’ve been
too forward and that your thoughts were laced with drunken ideas, you asked
what seemed like the most logical question, “Do you want to dance?”
“Come on, no one’s watching
and Butterfly is playing.” You put balanced your champagne on the ground and
stood up just in time for Jungkook to take you hesitantly in his arms. While he
positioned himself from a considerable distance, you wrapped one of your arms
around his neck, so that you could hide your face on his shoulder. “I missed
you so much that it drove me crazy. I worked so hard, so that I could have this
excuse to see you and even if you didn’t talk to me at all, I would’ve been
happy to just see you.”
While Jungkook didn’t let
go, he didn’t pull you close either. “You broke up with me.”
You nodded, beginning to
let go, but his grip on you suddenly became tighter. His strong arms encircled
you and held you in place. Your hands froze, but immediately melted over his
shoulders. “Don’t say goodbye, I still have a lot to say. It’s been years, but
I still feel the same way about you, Y/N. I haven’t changed.”
You held the tears in,
knowing that you had to keep your composure when you go back in. “…and the
circumstances haven’t changed either. We’re still going to be so busy and my
life… my life is not in Korea now.” You said the words and they were
comprehensible, but they weren’t your words. If it were up to you, you would
have just kissed Jungkook and asked him to take you back.
So instead, Jungkook kissed
you. “I know. After this night, we have to break up again.”
When you pulled away, you
looked in his eyes and knew, “The night isn’t over yet.”
You kissed him again, let
him tear your defenses, your clothes and your heart. You were prepared to get
hurt again the moment he walked in the door.
The next evening, you flew
back to Germany.
6 Months later…
You opened the door of your
apartment at 1 am to find a visitor that you least expected.
“Jungkook? What are you
doing here?” you looked around before pulling him inside, but before he could
step into your living room, he had already caught your wrist and you could see
in the way his tired eyes searched yours that he agonized about his action as
much as it hurt to see him in the middle of your apartment.
“Did you regret it?” His
fingers and the way they secured around your wrist will surely leave a mark. “Did
you regret leaving 3 years ago?”
“I…” The whole situation
was making it really difficult for you to breathe. “No, Jungkook. I’m sorry.”
He felt hopeless because he
knew you weren’t lying.
His arms fell limp, but he
managed to turn and go for the door.
“But I regretted leaving
six months ago.” You called and he hesitated by the door. “I should have let
you hold onto me then. I was and am more secure of myself, Jungkook. It doesn’t
matter if I see you every other minute or twice a year, I just know that I need
to be with you.”
He turned the knob slowly
and your heart sank to your feet only to be revived when he crossed the short
distance between you and met you for a kiss. His hands were cold on your neck,
but his tongue was warm when it pushed passed your lips. His other arm wove
around your waist as he continued kissing you and you almost cried into his
“Stay.” You whisper finally
when he peels back from you.
“I… I can’t.” he completely
lets go of you, but takes both of your hands in his. “…but I’ll return and I
hope… Y/N, I hope you can come back home with me then.”
He raises your knuckles to
his lips and you smile affirmatively. You see him to the door and he kisses
your forehead. You watched as he retreated until he turned back to you and
gestured to the sky. “The sky here is amazing too, but the stars are only
prettier when I’m with you.”
You rolled your eyes and
shot back, “How many times have I told you not to take Jin-oppa’s advice?”
a/n: here’s a short fic. Haha.

WHY GERMANY? PUMA’S HEADQUARTERS IS IN GERMANY HAHA.
Kimchi bokkeum bap is a very famous food in Korea. It is most popular amongst students and younger children and is another one of my favorite foods. It is very simple to cook and requires very little ingredients. You can add in other ingredients according to your taste, but here is the version that I like.
3/8 pounds of cabbage kimchi
cooking oil (not shown)
Dice the kimchi and spam into very small pieces.
Pour cooking oil onto a pan, and scramble the 2 eggs.
Stir fry the kimchi and the spam on a separate pot, and as the spam is cooked, add in the rice.
Break up the rice and mix throughly with the kimchi and spam, then add in the eggs.
Finally, crush the dried laver and pour onto the fried rice. Just mix a little, and you’re done!
BTS reaction to their GF makes dinner and helps comfort them when they get home? (Like ask about their day, give them a hug, a massage, etc. It would be a them day.)
Once he walked through the door, he took off his shoes and put away his stuff. He smelled food? He was baffled by the change of events. You were never home at this time?? He walked to the kitchen and saw you with your cute pink apron that he got you on your first anniversary. He smiled. You didn’t notice him yet. He cleared his throat. “Jagi, why are you here?” He didn’t say it in a mean way, he said it in such a caring way like, *WHY IS MY JAGI DOING THIS ON A WORKDAY SHE NEEDS TO REST HER PRETTY SELF* anyways, you smiled, and said “I’m treating you today, I have the rest of the week off, love! I decided to make you dinner and cuddle with you after before you head to work tomorrow. Jin was so happy. He came over and squished you in a hug. “Jagi, I love you so much” He sweetly showered your face with kisses and showed you much love.
With headphones on, he walked into the shared apartment and saw you on the ground? You were doing yoga, he freaked out a little thinking it was some weird..he’s not going to even think about it. You noticed him at your mat. “Oh, Oppa come here.” He was confused. You patted to the spot next to you. You started massaging his shoulders and neck. “WHAT DO YOU DO AT WORK. YOU LIterally sit in one place and produce from what you told me today” You were surprised at how tense he was. He was enjoying this. He let out a satisfying sound and laid on you. You were pretending that he was too heavy for you “dude… I can’t breathe……” he poked your sides and tickled you. You were laughing and realized how long it’s been since the two of you have hung out like that. You kissed him on the forehead. You left him eyes wide and shook. You went to go draw him a bath then got dinner ready for him.
He was humming through the hallway and walked into the apartment. He went to go take a shower and when he came out, he saw you in bed. He laid next to you and took in your scent, “Jagiyaaaaa, you smell so good” You smiled in his shirt. “Oppa, I made food for you, it’s on the counter, but I got so tired and laid down. I didn’t realize I fell asleep” Hoseok to you deeper into his chest. “You are too much, I appreciate you.” You rubbed his back. You were both in each other’s arms for the remainder of the day, snuggling into each other and whispering cute phrases back and forth.
He had it all planned. He had everything in his arms. Ingredients for dinner, fairy lights because candles were too dangerous, a cute new journal for you because you loved writing, and a new water bottle since you broke it when you were at volleyball practice. He had it ready, a day to spoil you. He wasn’t sure how he was going to get dinner done, since he usually burns everything and hopefully the apartment doesn’t burn down. He unlocked the door to smell something cooking. He raised his eyebrow in suspicion. He saw you in the kitchen, “What the…” You pointed the chopsticks at him “Don’t you dare finish that statement, Joon.” He sheepishly chuckled. “Ahah…Jagi, I’m gonna be nice about this. WHY DID YOU TAKE MY IDEA OF SPOILING YOU BUT TURNED IT TO SPOILING ME?” You looked at him, then at the stove, then back at him. He surrendered. “Yeah, I’ll burn the place down.” You finished dinner and served it. You were both at the table eating while he pushed the bag towards you. “What’s this?” He kept eating, and nudged it closer to your face, you looked through the bag and pulled out a hydroflask and a journal. You literally got teary-eyed. “JOON YOU DIDNT HAVE TOOOOOOOO” You hugged him and just koala’d him from there. “Jagi, we can cuddle after..” He quietly whispered while blushing. You nodded.
He was having an off day today. He wasn’t feeling his best after practice. He told himself it was normal, but it was feeling really really weird. He was being harsher on himself and he was just being a tough critic. He walked through the door and he saw you at the table. “Oh, Oppa, you’re home early, go take a bath, I drew one up for you.” He didn’t say anything and took his bath and came out. You slowly dried his hair and rubbed his back without a word. He was grateful for you during time like this. He rested against your body while you massaged his back and you realized it was tenser than usual. You kept patting his hair down until he fell asleep. You kissed his forehead and got food ready for him once he woke up; knowing he probably didn’t eat today.
Taehyung came into the bedroom after work and he was feeling antsy since he wasn’t doing well at practice today, “JAGI CAN WE PLEASE DO IT?” You looked at him. You seriously thought about it. You would be so tired tomorrow…” PLEASE JAGI, I’VE BEEN HAVING A ROUGH WEEK. I NEED TO DESTRESS” You rolled your eyes. “Fine, Oppa.” You both went to the living room and started your daily destressing activity. Karaoke. You knew you were going to regret this. But if it was to comfort Tae, you knew you had to do it. You sang through Big Bang and 2NE1’s songs all night until you both passed out next to each other, snoring softly until the early morning.
You were singing along to Begin while you were mixing the kimchi fried rice together. Jungkook came out of the shower singing you use the wooden spoon as a pretend microphone. You were so engrossed in it. “Jagi–” Before he even finished his sentence, you pulled him into a slow dance. You were both giggling and laughing. “Kookie, I made kimchi fried rice~” He nodded, “I know you did and I love you for it.” He pulled you into a hug and kissed your cheek. “Jagi, let’s eat and have fun tonight” Little did you know, his fun was playing Mario Kart all night and you beat him 75% of the times.
