People really complaining about newark not being orginized?
Look I understand that it was a tad messy. Fan chants weren’t great, not everyone knew the lyrics when the guys wanted us to sing (which was awkward when yoongi did it), and not everyone stood up. I get that. I personally studied the fanchants and learned lyrics and and stood up even though I have anxiety and just wanted to be just as well prepared as Brazil and chile. HOWEVER, that doesn’t give YALL to right to bash on Newark. Fanchants don’t seem like something the guys really care that much about. Sure it’s more fun but at the end of the day they’re happy they have such a big international fan base. Americans (especially American kpop fan) from my prospective tend to be more introverted so that might be the reason for sitting down. I saw a lot of people alone so I can understand as in introvert myself how standing by yourself can be awkward. I can’t make an excuse for fanchants and lyrics and stuff like that but it’s nothing to be mean about. Although I would love to be like Brazil, I still fully enjoyed myself and the people around me. I was surrounded by a mixture of hardcore fans who initiated fan-chants every single time and other fans who sat down the whole time just enjoying the show. And that’s okay. The guys aren’t gonna be upset because we don’t sound like a cult. As long as they see people enjoying themselves and liking their music I’m sure they don’t care how messy it was and you shouldnt care so much either. Also my fav part was that everyone did say “we love you!” During namjoons solo and a lot of other chants that were amazing were said too so maybe don’t focus on the negative parts (if you can even call it that) and appreciate that bts sold out TWO shows in Newark within minutes combined. American fans love bts just as much as Brazil fans. It’s just sometimes we don’t realize how important certain things are because we just want to enjoy the show however we want.
