Then he loses it when you throw yourself onto jimins lap just playing around. THEN HE CALLS YOU TO HIS ROOM AND YEA GALWBEKSBE and at the end some fluff where they finally get together? Jealous Namjoon is my favorite 👀🙏❞

→ summary: You, Namjoon and Jimin are like the Three Musketeers, best friends for as long as you can remember. But there’s more going on between you and Namjoon. In the end, his jealousy puts you both into your places.

The look on Namjoon’s face could kill right about now.

Namjoon is generally a very gentle soul with clumsy hands and a tall, well-proportioned build, but there are times when his expression turns blank and the tips of his ears go red. You’ve known him long enough to tell when he’s angry and right now, Namjoon is angry.

But you aren’t really sure why.

It’s pretty indecent to be sitting on Jimin’s lap while your crush sits across from you, but it’s also pretty indecent to mindlessly flirt with other girls at a party that Namjoon had invited you to. And he’d done just that so in your mind, this is payback.

Plus, Jimin’s lap is really comfortable. His thighs make amazing cushions and the hand he has on your waist is warm, comforting you because he knows all too well about your situation with Namjoon.

Did we talk about when Jensen asks Misha “Who are you kissing?” like a jealous, possessive lover? Granted it could be grand standing for the assembled crew doing the interview, or happy-trolling for the fans (because the JiB!Jensen of relaxation and pure joy we got to meet in May clearly has not left us since) (bless), but then again -> Jensen is overtly and most brilliantly and rather convincingly turning into his and Misha’s biggest shipper so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How the Living Legend Fights Statues over His Fiancee’s hand

I believe most of you have seen fans’ writing about Victor getting jealous over Yuuri’s ‘ex-lover’ Shachihoko or ‘Chihoko’. If you haven’t, please read them because you will not understand what I’m talking about next.

So firstly, what is Chihoko? Shachihoko しゃちほこ (鯱) is a mythical carp with the head of a lion and the body of a fish (auspicious protectors of well-being) and it looks like this:

And as you can see, they are VERY flexible. So when Yuuri taunted Viktor ‘Shachihoko is more flexible than you’ he actually talked about this half fish-half lion statue! Victor did not even get jealous to Yuuri’s human ex-lover, he got jealous over an effing statue!

But the story doesn’t stop there!

As you know, both Viktor and Yuuri were really drunk. And somehow a drunk Viktor is more extra than a sober Viktor. So he did what a jealous drunk lover do. He went to find and tried to challenge his rival ‘Chihoko’. But where is Chihoko?

That is the picture of Karatsu ‘Hasetsu’ Castle where Shachihoko or Chihoko lives.

So now, imagine a living legend Viktor Nikiforov. Imagine him climbing the Hasetsu Castle NAKED, challenging two ‘Chihoko’ he encountered, telling them “You maybe Yuuri’s past, but I’m his future!”

???!!!!! He is so extra I can’t take it anymore!!!!

Literally just all the sexual things Alexander Hamilton sent to John Laurens

“I love you.”

This one is pretty self explanatory. Men were much more intimate back in the 1700′s, forming bonds that seem very ~gay~ in today’s light. Homosexuality wasn’t a very understood thing back then because rigid moral codes and censured education prevented people from learning more about sexuality.

 But Alexander Hamilton knew.

He grew up on an island where ‘Sodomites’ (gay people) were dumped and  allowed to mingle with the island population. Alex knew that there was a certain zone of interactions between men that went from being merely friendly to sexual. He clearly steps into the bounds of sexual while fully realizing it.

“In drawing my picture, you will no doubt be civil to your friend; mind you do justice to the length of my nose and don’t forget, that I [- - - - - -].”

Ahhhhhhhhh my son Alex, could you be more explicit? Alex here is obviously referring to his something else (you know) with the knowledge that John Lauren’s knows the size. This sentence right here is basically just one long ;).

“Your friend” seems to be written teasingly, as if they both know how far from friends they are.

And we can only guess how dirty Alex got in those last six  CUT OUT words.

“Dear Boy” [sent by John Laurens]

John laurens calls his wife his ‘dear girl’, and here he calls Alex his ‘dear boy’.  Moreover, Laurens did not call any other man he ever wrote to as his ‘dear boy’. Laurens seems to see Alex as on the same level, if not higher, as his own wife.

“Did I mean to show my wit? If I did, I am sure I have missed my aim. Did I only intend to [frisk]? In this I have succeeded, but I have done more. I have gratified my feelings, by lengthening out the only kind of intercourse now in my power with my friend.”

This phrase right here I unfortunately do not see a lot when people talk about Alex and John’s letters. This, to me, is one of the most explicit. “Wit” also mean one’s you know what (here I give a nod to the Ravenclaw moto), so Hamilton’s saying he was pretty much just messing around with John the last letter he sent. This is the only sort of “intercourse” he is able to have with John, as they are both so far apart. He is incapable of ‘sexual’ intercourse because of their distance, so he feels he must, in the 18th century way, sext.

“I would invite you after the fall to Albany to be witness to the final consummation.”

As you might have already guessed, Alex is inviting John to a threesome on his wedding night. The idea that Alex feels so at ease inviting John to a threesome with his wife suggests they have already had something going for a long time now.

“But like a jealous lover, when I thought you slighted my caresses, my affection was alarmed and my vanity piqued. I had almost resolved to lavish no more of them upon you and to reject you as an inconstant and an ungrateful –”

Here Alex compares himself to John’s lover, and a jealous one at that. John seems to be shying away from Alex’s bawdiness, as if realizing how strange their relationships is in retrospect. Alex is scrambling to hang on to him, even though he knows well what are and what happens to Sodomites. He would do anything for John while knowing the consequences. And John is too afraid to join him. And who the hell knows what the last word was.

“And believe me, I am lover in earnest,”

*cough cough* looks like John knows exactly what happens when Alex’s feeling frisky.

“She [Eliza] loves you a l'americaine not a la francoise.”

The French were renowned for their relaxed stance on extramarital love affairs, while Americans were more Puritan-minding and thought love affairs only should happen in church-sanctioned marriages. Thus Eliza has an a l’americaine love of John Laurens, rather than an a la francoise.

“You will be pleased to recollect in your negotiations that I have no invincible antipathy to the maidenly beauties & that I am willing to take the trouble of them upon myself.”

*cough* this sentence is a bit confusing, and could be taken a few ways. What I infer from this is that Alexander Hamilton is willing, and John knows this, to assume an air of femininity because he finds no fault with it. It was commonly noted by people who wrote of Hamilton that he was very feminine in comparison with other men of his day. Alex’s femininity seems to please John, the topic even having been discussed between the two in ‘negotiations’.

“My ravings are for your own bosom” Alex desperately misses Laurens’ intimate contact in a way that, in my opinion, could never be mistaken as simply friendship. Alex literally wants to be held by John. How fucking heartbreaking is that.

“Yrs for ever”

Ok, this one isn’t sexual, but I had to add it because it is so heartbreaking. This was Alex’s last farewell note to John. That is, if he even received it. He died shortly after Alex sent the letter; whether he read the farewell or not is all lost to history. Alex loved John so much, despite the fact that both already had a wife. He would have always loved him, even if they had grown apart…

That’s it folks: time for me to cry.

The Jealousy’s Evening

for the anon who sent in this amazing prompt, thank you!

Today wasn’t Castiel’s favorite day. The past few days hadn’t been his favorite day. A lot of things were currently not okay and all he could do was fake a smile and get on with school, with life.
It wasn’t that he was allowed to complain - in the end Dean had never been his in the first place. But seeing him kiss Lisa… it hurt. It hurt seeing them together, so close and happy.

Of course, Castiel didn’t have any feelings for Dean, he was just upset that he was losing his best friend. They had been close for a long time, stayed over at each other’s houses a lot, slept in the same bed, shared clothes and did everything together. They were inseparable, until Dean started dating Lisa.

For Castiel it had been out of nowhere when Dean had told him he and Lisa were a thing. At first, he’d just been slightly annoyed, but when days passed he began to realize how much it influenced him and his friendship with Dean. Way more than he wanted to admit.

He just wanted the old Dean back, spend time with him doing nothing- hang out on the roof and talk about school or Dean’s father being a dick and Gabriel who’d stolen from the candy shop. That was ages ago and Cas was probably never getting that back.

Dean never wanted to hang out and ‘do nothing’, had not once suggested to take a ride with the Impala and watch the sunset while sipping beer as they sat on the hood of the car. The only thing that was the same, were them staying over at each other’s houses, doing homework together and their movie night on Friday.

At least, Castiel thought.

Was the Black Dahlia killed by a woman?

Amongst the many theories that abound about the identity of the person who brutally tortured and killed Elizabeth Short aka ‘The Black Dahlia’ in January 1947, one in particular stands out; that Elizabeth Short was murdered by a jealous female lover or spurned wife.

Despite the vast majority of violent murders being committed by men, there are a number of indications that suggest the killer was a woman. These include:

- When it was discovered, Elizabeth Short’s corpse was discovered in two halves. It has been theorized that a body in two halves would be easier for a female to handle and carry.

- An autopsy revealed extensive mutilation to Short’s genitals, breasts, and face, and the killer had gone to great lengths to eradicate her attractive looks by slashing her mouth from ear to ear. This sort of mutilation is common in jealousy related murders, and women are far more likely to pay attention to facial mutilation than men in violent crimes.

- Short’s hair had been washed and styled after her death, an action that women are far more likely to be proficient at than men.

- A few days before she disappeared, Short told a friend that she had been chased down the street by a woman wearing mens clothes.

- On the last day she was seen, Short mentioned she was going to stay at a friends house over the weekend. The man who drove her part of the way noted that Short had taken no clothes or makeup to her friends house, which may mean that her friend was a female who could have loaned her some, and this same friend could have killed her.

- Short was known to associate with lesbians and frequented a lesbian bar in the year before her murder.

The scene on Endor is so important to me for many reasons but one of them is that in it, Han Solo apologises. Which marks one of the very few times that I’ve seen a male character apologising for getting jealous of his own volition, not because he got yelled at or anything, but because he realised that Leia was upset and that this was not the time for him to get petty and stupid over his own insecurities, and I love that.

Because jealousy is so often portrayed as a funny or even romantic thing, a sign that the guy is in love or whatever, when in fact, jealous behaviour is almost always hurtful or even controlling behaviour. As an instinct or reaction, it’s very human and understandable, but when I see characters acting jealously, I see them acting in a way that’s possessive, manipulative, controlling, hurtful, and ultimately, lacking in trust. No one ever does nice things out of jealousy.

Here’s the thing: who Leia falls for is her choice. Who Leia trusts and confides in is her choice. Who Leia has a relationship with is her choice. And Han knows this. He gets momentarily jealous and annoyed because he’s been away from her for a year and he’s scared of losing her and maybe she doesn’t care as much as he does, and they’re back to fighting, and he doesn’t know what to do about any of it. He tried asking her outright, and that didn’t work, and that’s Han out of ideas. Not like Luke, who’s good at this emotional stuff, damn him anyway. But then Han realises very quickly that Leia’s upset, and he’s being petty and unhelpful and making everything worse. Luke just left, and whatever he is to her, whatever they said to each other, Leia is upset.

Leia, obviously, doesn’t really care about love triangles right now. Leia has just had several major revelations, she has a brother, she has a father, they might kill each other, and she’s also in the middle of a life-or-death mission. What Leia needs right now is just someone to be on her side, not demands for answers or petty jealousies. She doesn’t want to talk about it. She needs to process it all first.

So then it’s Han’s choice whether he storms off in a huff because she’s not putting him first, or turns back to comfort her because he’s putting her first.

He chooses the latter. He chooses her. He puts his jealousy and his insecurities to the side, he swallows his pride, he apologises for losing his temper and being an idiot, and he doesn’t try to offer an excuse or explanation or justification for it, either. He just says “I’m sorry” and stands there, saying nothing, making it clear that he’s here for her in whatever way she needs. Putting her first. No expectations. Because he has no idea what Leia needs or wants right now so he’s decided to just give her a chance to tell him.

He’s also made himself vulnerable, because you know that between these two, an apology is a Big Deal, a major score for the other side. But what it also means is that Leia can now turn to him for comfort, because he’s being sincere, so she can be, too. You can tell it surprises Han, because of course he didn’t even realise he was doing it right, but unlike their earlier fights, this one ends well because what do you know, a relationship is about trust and consideration and putting each other first.

The point is: Han realises that he’s being an idiot, he apologises for it, he doesn’t make excuses, and he doesn’t demand any particular reaction to it. It’s a genuine apology and it’s given, with no expectations or conditions attached, for a behaviour that’s romanticised far too often. It turns the “jealous lover” trope around and puts the romance where it ought to be: in the apology, aka the act of genuinely putting the other person first.
