ALLURA IS SO MUCH MORE THAN THE PEOPLE SHE IS SHIPPED WITH

meganezaru  asked:

Can you do more older version of blueberry and bean, like your previous artwork? And blueberry is still the same old dork self (I love to see your version of their older selves 😭)

I have a few unfinished stuff in my folder, here are some screencaps:

They do look more serious than dorky, but then again, I also have stupid shit like these:

As much as I love rent the musical i also hate it because the first unashamedly and loudly bisexual character I ever saw in any media anywhere is reduced to this stereotype of bad cheating bi that isn’t satisfied by being with one gender. Her whole number of how shes so bi and attracted to just so many people, both boys AND girls oh my, it also uses that as her excuse for cheating.

Rent may have done a lot of good for aids awareness, but it also did a world of hurt for bisexual representation

Yellow Roses
Joy, Gladness, Friendship, Delight, Promise of a new beginning, Welcome Back, Remember Me, Jealousy, “I care”. Freedom and abandon are the foremost meanings of a yellow rose.

Europe during the 18th century, yellow or gold tones had negative connotations. It was associated with envy and fading love. If you were living back then, you would not want to receive a gold rose. It would mean that the giver was jealous of you or no longer loved you. In Islamic folklore the meaning is really quite different. It is believed that the yellow rose is a symbol of deceit, treachery, and adultery.

Nevertheless, yellow roses are generally popular because of their positive meanings, and are often used to send messages of goodwill such as “Thank You” or “Welcome Back.” Another truly wonderful meaning of a yellow rose is that it indicates a determination to start anew, to begin afresh. A rift, a misunderstanding, or a quarrel that needs to be mended.

Camellia
Love, affection, and admiration. My destiny is in your hands.
The symmetrical beauty and long-lasting quality of the flower have long been appreciated by young lovers as the token for expressing devotion to each other.

Camellias come in pink, red and white. Each variety has its own significance. Pink & Yellow camellias symbolize longing, while red camellias symbolize passion. White camellias symbolize waiting, adoration, perfection and loveliness.
The Victorian Language of flower tells us the Camellia represents the longing for another. It also implies flawles beauty. Giving a Camellia to another tells them that they are the “flame” in your heart.

While Camellia grows in a variety of colors it’s most commonly pink or red bears the symbolic meaning of thankfulness and appreciation towards another. The darker the color of this flower the more intense the emotional vibration becomes.
