Hidden away from the ongoing battles between Hell, Heaven, and Purgatory Cain ensured his isolation in Missouri from the fray would be permanent due to a promise made to his one true love, Colette. However, as more monsters continue to flow through the rifts and decimate collections of small towns the space for the peaceful life he vowed to keep himself in is slowly but surely growing smaller and smaller. The value the oath made to Colette to keep his hands away from the pure chaos of being a Knight of Hell sits precariously between the complete ruination of the planet -and most importantly his way of life- or to partake in the fight to end the forces of Purgatory. Remaining largely neutral to the cause Cain wouldn’t dare dabble in the real war but a helpful anonymous shove in the right direction would never hurt, or so you’d think.
